I don't mind it for 2D fighters. I can't do a dragon punch motion on any D-Pad ever made. If it wasn't for the analog stick on the dreamcast, I probably never would have been able to get good (and get into) at 2D fighters.

Personally... I kinda think its worthless to do all these titles if they won't have xbox live support. Alot of them are old games. I downloaded Guilty Gear XX and I love it but there is nobody online to play it. Playing the cpu gets old fast and i'm 25 so I don't have friends coming over to my house everyday after school.

It would be heartbreaking to see MvC2 on XBLA but with no online play.

Yeah, but this appears to be Ultimate Match, the remixed version that was just released in Japanese arcades and PS2's. Just hope that the PS2 version hits NA, or else Sony's anti-2D policy strikes again.

The D-Pad for the 360 is fine with me. It's easy to learn I dunno why people act like it's so horrible. Even my PS2 friend plays fighters on the 360 and not a single complaint about the D-pad. Now the D-pad on the old Xbox on the other hand... that was brutal.

In anycase I'm glad KOF '98 is finding another home on the Xbox 360.

You sure are right. I never buy a fighter fro 360 and the crap d-pad. No im not buying a arcade stick. I shouldint have to.

SNK-Playmore, please, put all them titles on XBL. Heck, would it be possible to release an "official" emulator for 360, price it 800 points with a game included, and then just put up roms there for, say, 400-600? I'd bite. A lot of times. I have a credit card, the limit is decently high.
