Kingdom Hearts announcement next week.

In a response to a question from Famitsu Weekly, Tetsuya Nomura promised that a special announcement regarding Kingdom Hearts will arrive next week.

I never played one of them, but happy for fans out there!

I still need to finish the first one. Hopefully it's announced for 360 or PS3, but most likely the Wii. Oh well, I'll have a Wii by the time the game is finished and released anyways.

Is this to do with that supposed Sony PS3 announcement on Tues? Or is this seperate?

U.S. and European release date for their handheld games probably. Or maybe a iPhone game.

I wouldn't expect KH3 until the dude is finished withe FFvs13, and it's such a huge announcement that I would expect them to wait for a huge gaming event to announce it.

This is partially the reason I almost hope my original wish doesn't come true.

Mainly because I don't want SE to have the chance to having Keyblade controls tied to waggle controls.

Its probably just release dates...if its any info on KH3 then its the end of the world.

Maybe, but the only games I'm interested in on the PSP are Loco Roco, Patapon, and that's about it.

And I'm scared of getting one right now just in case Sony announces the rumored PSP 2. Just like when I bought a DSLite, and a few day later Nintendo announced the DSi.

Kingdom Hearts for the Wii = me purchasing a Wii asap. Unless it ends up being like kingdom hearts 2. I prefer the first game.

Not so much the reaction commands for me, it was the level design. In the first game, the levels seemed to be, i dunno, more vertical in nature, and there were more platforming elements. Take for instance something like Oogie Boogies tower or whatever in Halloweentown, you had to climb that thing forever. In KH2- all the levels were you pretty much running in a straight line towards the next objective, pausing only to fight occasionally, no jumping required. It wasn't bad, but the levels in the first game were more fun to explore. IMO.

Meh, I'm more excited for the Kingdom Hearts games than versus.

I'm assuming it's going to be release dates. I mean, with E3 in basically 2 months (or TGS later on) why would they announce a new KH game out of the blue now?

I'll say this now so I don't seem like a fanboy/hater: I never liked KH. Sure it had real-time combat but it never looked fun. And I could never take it seriously because of the Disney characters.

100% agree with this. In KH2, the worlds felt more like a collection of minigames than a world. KH worlds were much better.

Anyway, It would be awesome if they announced KH3 but I'm not getting my hopes up though...

Some of the levels aren't as fun (i personally don't care for wonderland, although i couldn't tell you why) but i just created a seperate game save so i could start from about the middle of the game, if i wanted to get to later levels without replaying everything. You could probably find a save like that on gamefaqs, maybe
