Kingdom Hearts on 360?

Someone made a thread about this. Is it true? Man, I was hoping that Blu-Ray would allow for movies such as Remember the Titans and the Parent Trap to make the cut in the next game. I'm bummed out now :(Twisted_Hawk

The platform in which KH3 is heading for is still unconfirmed. Well any person would a reasonable mind would look back, See that the first two KH games were on PS2, and would thereby asuume that KH3 is at the very least going to appear on PS3 (Allthough i would not be surprised if it dropped on PS2). what the point of releasing a game in its third itereation on a console that doesnt have the first 2? thats why i think DMC4 on 360 isnt going to do well.

im gonna say PS3 gets the Main game, and Wii/360 gets a side story game, along with a Handheld side-story game.

They did say their would be multiple KH titles.

Who even says that Square Enix is making another Kingdom Hearts game? All of you people and your speculations, christ its getting annoying. What would you cows and lemmings say if KH3 was Wii exclusive or it went to the DS or PSP? Would you all stop whining and moaning about the game? Just like every other title that you people seem to think because there are a couple of installments that there will be more of them. Look at how many Ninja Gaiden games there have been over the years, after Sigma and Dragon Sword, there will have been a grand total of 8 games, two of which are remakes (Sigma and Ninja Gaiden for the Xbox, Black doesnt count as a part of the series since it isnt a new game). So it took over 15 years before another Ninja Gaiden game was ever made yet no one complained about it so stop whining about one more game that you all think will have another sequal.

So, companies shift sides, obviously Square did not like the direction Nintendo was going in, neither did Konami. The NES had Ninja Gaiden yet Tecmo had the balls to release it on the Xbox. The PS1 easily had some of the best Final Fantasy games ever made, Tactics and 7-9 were all fantastic games. I mean 1-5 are not bad games by any means, its just that FF7-9 improved so much more on the games as a whole.

The knight's name is Terra, and he harbors a hatred for Xehanort. He knows him, and we know this because Xemnas calls Aqua (the female knight) "friend". That's probably the place Xehanort was before he met Ansem the Wise.

The point of me saying that was becausejigglebilly1983 was saying that the game would not be going to the 360 because 1,2 are on the ps2. and like you said companies shift sides they dont care were there games were on before. SE is loyal to Sony, Disney just cares about making the most profit, last generation was a no-brainer choice as the PS2 has the largest userbase, so both Disney and SE would agree on that paltform for the game. However this time XBOX360 has the largest userbase, and this game does not solely belong to SE, SE might not agree to make the game for the XBOX360 because they hate MS.

Why do you think there'll be another Kingdom Hearts in the first place? SE has not mentioned any plans for the game and with the group working on FFversusXIII and SE already busy with other titles, it seems unlikely we'll see another KH this generation, maybe for PS4. themyth01

They've obviously got a game plan for the third installment. How, exactly? The Final Mix. Whenever there's a Final Mix for a Kingdom Hearts game, it means a sequel's a comin'. And it has a secret boss not found in the original, and establishes a connection between the two games. The first time it was Xemnas, now it is Terra.

It has taken them about 5+ years to work on FFXIII, what team exactly could they have working on KH3 if the team that developed the original KH is working in FFversusXIII. If they would plan to make a KH3 for PS3 it would take them at least 2 to 3 years from the moment they get started, to get started they would have to have the game engine ready. I wouldn't expect a KH until 09 if it comes this generation at all. Disney can also decide as to the plans for the game, if they don't reach agreement, you can forget about another KH, no matter how many mysteries are unsolved in the game.

Yeah, but SE also knows where they will make their money and that is on the PS3 and Wii, since both actually sell in Japan as well as around the world. Why would they release Kingdom Hearts 3 on the 360 in Japan or to the rest of the world when the game is not going to sell in that country due to its platform? The PS3 has more success in Japan then the 360 and SE knows full well that putting their games on the PS3 or Wii will make them money, hence why the only FF game being made for the 360 is another MMORPG.

its not just sqaures game though disney owns some of that and you know they have **** up cartoons and the crows were pimpin if i could do that i would never leave the house lol

You are also aware that Kingdom Hearts came out in 2002, almost 2 years after the PS2 had been released and at that time had a strong hold on the market. The 360's current fanbase is tiny compared to the PS2's after 2 years, and the fanbase wont surpass more then 30 million consoles at this rate, whereas the Wii will. Square Enix was also confident that the games would sell well since their franchises were always successful on Sony platforms. Final Fantasy never has had much demand to be on the Xbox until FF13 was announced as PS3 exclusive, and it is pretty evident that its too late for that to ever happen. Had the original Xbox maybe been more popular in the Japanese market, SE might have taken the risk, but much like this gen, the 360 is doing horrible in Asia and its only good JRPG flopped there and the fanbase is small.
