Kingdom Hearts on ps3 after all

On August 2nd and August 3rd, Square Enix is holding a "private party" with the utterly ridiculous name DKΣ3713 that will be limited to only 2,400 attendees, picked by raffle through the Japanese Square Enix Members website.. It will showcase Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts PS3, PSP, DS and mobile games. And just like we thought, Final Fantasy XIII will not be playable.

I reckon it will go to Wii, after all Disney wants it's money. Disney is the one in control of where Kingdom Hearts 3 goes, not Square Enix

I thought it would go to the wii too but by the sound of it they already have a trailer ready for it and are showcasing it on the ps3 along with FFXIII

Its weird how many games have gone Exclusive or timed exclusive to the Xbox isnt it? You know those games which where orignally planned for the PS3! Most great games have long development cycles, the Last Remnant is timed exclusive because the Unreal Engine and the Playstation 3 don't get along well. It's not some massive Microsoft conspiracy, simply development.

Three main Final Fantasy games released on the PS1 (7, 8, 9). Three main Final Fantasy games released on the PS2 (10, 11, 12).

At this rate, it will be three years into the PS3's life cycle before we see Square's first FF game this generation.

Clearly, something has changed, whether it is the rising development costs of the generation in general, or the PS3 in particular.

And why do you guys think that Monster Hunter 3 is now a Wii exclusive do you want to know why because developers don't know how to work Sony's hardware yet and it cost to much money to make.

What's so exciting about waggling your hand and then watching the character in the game do the same thing? It's not 1 to 1 ya know.

FF13 isn't coming out for a long time

it looks as if they're pulling a crisis core in that they're waiting for the PS3 install base to grow a bit before releasing it. It'll be the last Final Fantasy game that is playstation exclusive that's for damn sure

There are sheep saying "I hope KH3 goes to the Wii just so we can claim ownage on cows" is really pathetic. Some of the gamers on this board don't even care for KH, but that is what they want to happen. (I don't see it as much with cows, but there are those there too that only want the game on PS3 to claim ownage.)

There's no telling if KH3 will go to the Wii or PS3. It really has just as much chance of going to the PS3 despite what the people on this board say.

I, personally, want KH3 to go to PS3 with a spin-off to Wii. That way we can see how the game would work on both consoles.

Wait... what? I believe they are but if you don't that probably means our views on spin-offs are different. I guess when I say spin-off, I am viewing any part of the story not in line with the numbered titles is a spin-off. So KH, KH2 and KH3 are the main games while KH: CoM, BbS, 358/2 Days and Coded are spin-offs.

When in reality, they are more just out of the numbered entry entries into the series. So when I say I would like a Wii spin-off, I mean an entry on the Wii. I just want to see games on both the Wii and PS3 since I'm sure Nomura could do something great with the Wii controls and I want to see KH3 powered on the engine that is doing Final Fantasy Versus XIII.

In a sense, yes. They help you understand the story more, but aren't exactly all that necessary.

But a portable spinoff is much different that a console spinoff. I'd like to see a KH game that doesn't relate to the main story we know today for the Wii.

Tetsuya Nomura, the creator, said next KH game (after the portables) won't even go into development until after FFXIII vs. is completed so all this speculation is pointless.
