This won't set the world on fire like uncharted which is sad, but somewhat expected.

I know quality when I see it and this game will score fine across the board. 8's will be the lowest ones, mark my words. Well, there will be maybe a 6 or a 5 seeing how there is always a reviewer that wants to troll just like that guy that gave a 5 to Uncharted 3. That Tom Chick guy is a menace.

at first i was a liitle excited about TLOU, but after they ran out of scripted scenes to show it started to look messy and uninspired. not to mention the massive graphical downgrade, but i guess that too is expected from a sony game. :(

Won't bother reading that, but to me the game doesn't look that special. Haven't really enjoyed Uncharted games, so can't say I have any major expectations about this.

I don't know what people get out of games like this. The story definitely won't be mind blowing. The gameplay looks bad. Graphics are decent at best. I really don't see the appeal at all. I feel like it's this wasn't a Sony exclusive no one would be taking about it.Miketheman83

As a PlayStation fan I dont believe TLOU will live up to the hype. There is so much praising around this game it cant possibly live up to it. Cows should calm down a bit. It still looks good but nothin breathtaking. I expect it to score an 8.0 and be called a "flop" for the years to come. Just like what happened with Alan Wake. Similar concepts and everything...

It reads like a cautiously optimistic impression from a first hands-on experience. The best gripe that the guy could come up with (likely in the interest of avoiding cries of bias) is that the idea of a zombie game is unoriginal.

So go ahead and do this for me: Just consider how many truly original ideas are even left in general these days for designers to pursue, both in this industry and any other that exists. We've seen it all in games already, from anthropomorphism of inanimate objects and (especially) animals to space operas and medieval fantasy romps. From serious to comedic. From zombies with rotting flesh to aliens with scales and ten foot long tongues. Hell, there's even a game where you are a mosquito sucking the blood from a family as you invade their home.

I think the game will be a blast, that guy getting his head cut clean off was like Manhunt and way more gorey than expected. Howevere I don't think it will be the top of the tier when it launches like oh so many people here are gonna say. I am really not looking forward to it's release around SW when the Hyperbole goes into over drive. But I am sure looking forward to playing it

As bad as that articleis, I'll admit I'm becoming less impressed with this game the more I see of it. I'm sure it will be well made since it's Naughty Dog but I'm doubting it will leave much of an impression on me.
