[QUOTE="Solid_Max13"][QUOTE="Puckhog04"] It would be the same thing on the 360 as it would on the PS3...
It would easily fit on one disc since all videos are done in game rather than FMV (as all JRPG's are).
He prefers the PS as a development platform though, always has, even when the PS2 was getting the watered down games. Luckily that isn't the case here. 360 and PS3 games are essentially identical.
PS3 forums as a source btw.
Yea i'm sure that's credible.
Simple fact is MGS4 could appear on the 360 without any hitches, it's more more than capable despite fanboys would like to think. Whether or not the creator is willing to is a different story however.

These threads never end its PS3 exsclusive get used to it, trying to put MGS4 on 360 would be super water downed considering he's using the bluray disc to it's potential, which he's stated many times. Adn it would be significantly different trust me i don't think you read much about devs and there work but try reading up on Kojima and his diaries for MGS4 and you'll see your quote is so much of a laugh.
Of course he's going to say it can't be done on anything other than Bluray, he might as well be employed by Sony. Simple fact is that the game doesn't use FMV (as JRPG's do) and those are essentially the only games that go above 1 disc on the 360. And that's solely due to the FMV. And of course he's going to make stupid statements like "This could never be done on the 360" because again, he might as well be employed by Sony. Simple fact is that not a one game has been shown on the PS3 that couldn't be done on the 360 (or even the Wii in some cases) and still look the same or identically near. Super watered down? No, judging from the capabilities of both consoles, that's far from the truth. It might very well be slightly watered down...but it wouldn't be anything that took away from the game. You can eat up his words without question but the facts are there.
Note: Nope, i don't want MGS4 on the 360. Don't want the game that much to be honest. Most of the videos i see of it seem like they took out some of the key stealth elements that made the first MGS on the Playstation and MGS2 on the PS2 so great. The Gears of War esque view while shooting a gun makes that prevalent. While it's nice to be able to aim like that, most videos I see just have constant shooting in them. I'll probably play it, no doubt. But i couldn't care less if it appears on the 360.
I don't care if it's PS3 exclusive, get used to it. :P It's not exactly staying faithful to the old games IMO. And i want more stealth. And, like it or not, the rumor is still there and an unconfirmed source doesn't prove otherwise. It probably won't appear on the 360 but, in all honesty, there's so many other games to be worrying about otherwise that it almost seems pointless to release it on the 360.
No what i was trying to point out was texture wise not cinematics but textures sound models and littlest detail which they fit in. And i agree in a way that maybe no they didn't use the same control scheme the same time over and over but went new directions which i was kind of glad, the thing that bugs me about MGS4 is the fps thing i felt that was tacky but above all i believe it still looks great and yea i'm an MGS addict so in a way been waiting 5 yrs for this now.
