Kojima shows new game running on fox engine - first screen. Metal gear??

Can't say for sure. Knowing Kojima, it'll probably be a military-oriented game. WWII based maybe?

I see a guy in.. what seems to be military gear, in a crouched posture leading me to believe that he's sneaking past that tank.

Stealh game. Military? Something Metal Gear related would be my guess.

Military setting, sneaking guy, and the right color tone and lighting to be an MGS game.

I don't actually think it is though. Kojima tends to make a big deal out of it every time he shows a new MGS game.

Also, if this is a new MGS it would have to be for a handheld judging by those visuals. Either that, or it has a very open world. Look at the blocky models and flat ass textures. Doesn't look too good.

Oh and Liquid has a big chunk of history doing missions in the middle east before the events of MGS1. So if this is a prequel featuring Liquid as the main character slated for release on the Vita then you heard it here first! :P

I think so.

I think its a metal gear game, just not a 'solid' game. New protaganist, same universe. This way he can pretty much do what he wants with the story and character without annoying fans, but still gets to make a new game. I hope so, Im in the EU and I cant even play the MGS HD collection till february, its not out over here. I need some new metal gear dammit. BibiMaghoo

In the interview about Rising, Kojima said that after MGS4 (or maybe Peace Walker, not sure) he originally wanted to do a game based on The Cobra Unit. You never know!
