Konami Reps are the reason that MGS4 360 Rumor stays around.

Fanboy aside, the rumor keeps getting jumped started by internal sources/!!!EDIT!!! Reps of Konami...

Now before we start with the crazy side of SW I'm just saying the !!!EDIT!!! Reps deserve some of the blame for this rumor.

A Konami rep is not a dev. and also that article does not clarify anything but the fact that Konami in general is looking into multiplatform releases. This is not specifically about MGS4. and as Kojima the DEV has stated time and time again, this game is NOT coming out on the 360.live with it or buy a ps3.

LMAO... Damage Control still??? I thought lemmings would be over it by now... By Gamespot Standards (for all claims of ownage on this site) Metal Gear Solid 4 is a 10... Splinter Cell Double Agent (I believe its the most recent) 8.5 for Xbox 360... PS3 (Cows) win this one...

These rumours are annoying, but the article is extremely clear in indicating that they are talking about the possibility of making MGS4 multiplatform, not konami games in general..

I believe the TC has a PS3 (based on their sig)...so I don't think that is the point they are trying to get across.

People need to research before theyes post. A Konami dev never said that, it was a misunderstanding/bad translation. Besides even if it were true, i'll take Kojima's word over his any day. MGS4 boosted Konami's profits by 88%, obviously it sold well so there is no need for a port. Kojima squashed this whole MGS4 on 360 thing, when he basically said if you wanna play MGS4 go buy a PS3. He told Famitsu, he's working on a new game and it'll be revealed in 2009. A new game isn't MGS4. The only arguments 360 owners has, is the rumors/others did to up against the arguments I just supplied above. I think ZOE3 has a higher chance on being on 360.SnakePS360Gamer

I think it has a lot to do with circumstances. 3rd party, strange konami rumors, massive damage control posts on boths sides. Best game in Sony's limited stable, Haters just want to see Sony lose another exclusive, recent final fantasy bomb shell. It's like the perfect storm.

Really? I saw a few of those threads at key crucial moments, but i have seen atleast 2x more MGS4 to X360 threads. Anytime a Konami rep sneezed, a new thread would pop up.

They were quite a few who seen it coming, SE loyalties, SE financial trouble, SE games going multiplat. All those who were flamed hard and by Sony fanboys that also tried to get every thread locked that spoke of the business logic and the possiblities of the FF13 going to 360.

Was it MGS2:S? Sorry I dont really remember which one it was :P But I know it was one of the MGS games and it didnt sell well. I just bought all my MGS games for PS2 :D
