I think Mass Effect is the Spiritual succesor to KOTOR and they are NOT making a KOTOR MMO or KOTOR 3.
In other words Mass Effect is KOTOR 3. (You know what I mean.)

I'm honestly upset by the news that KOTOR 2 is going to be a Goddamned MMORPG. One of the things I hate most about MMORPGs is how NOTHING is resolved in the plot. And what was one of the most memorable things about KOTOR (Except for II...)? That's right, the plot.Verge_6

yeah 2 sucks so they had to go in a different direction. playing 3 which was the same as the first two would be painful. 1st one was the best by far.

It is going to end up like FF11 MMO. All the things you loved about KOTOR(story, characters, gameplay, battles) is going to be stripped out and all that will be left is upgradable light-sabers and custom Wookie armer and a community of people who play it 20 hours a day in their Luke Skywalker underoos (and they will be in their 30's and look like the comic book guy from the Simpson's) and ruin it for everyone else by taking it WAY too seriously. It makes me sad. But it is Bioware so there may be hope. And hope is a good thing, A "New Hope" if you will (sorry, bad pun).

I doubt its being made, and even if it is, Bioware wont make it.

Bioware is owned by EA, while Lucas Arts has the rights to the Star Wars license.I cant see EA paying Lucas Arts to use the license

Resolved Aesthetically no .. but whats the difference? WoW resolves things pretty well, for a first time play through at least, Illidan is now dead, Kel Thuzad was stopped once again and now Arthas actually moves his ass off the frozen throne :P
