What system is KOTOR III gonna be on? I can't remember if this game sold well or not but the first one was probably my favorite game of last-gen. This could (if sales were good) be a big 3rd party game for this gen....My guess is 360 since its Bioware.MikeE21286Nope. With the PS3's groundbreaking install base it is obviously going with sony.
Hasn't Bioware stated that there only working on their on IP from now on. chaosX303BioWare doesn't own the rights for Kotor....LucasArts does. I think Obsidian will be working on Kotor 3, instead. (correct me if I'm wrong...I haven't been keeping up lately on Kotor news).
It's possible that Obsidian would make it PC-exclusive (like NWN2), but I guess that they'd only take the project if Lucasarts doesn't screw them over again and edit out the last third of the game (like they did with KOTOR 2).Planeforger
NWN2 was a sequel to a game that was already PC exclusive, though, so that made sense.
Though actually, the third KOTOR game could easily come out for more than just PC/Xbox360. They're going to need to make a new engine for it anyways, so I wouldn't be too surprised if it came out for the PS3 as well, and maybe even for the Wii.
Not Bioware then it probably doesn't matter.waynehead895
Despite some issues, KotOR II was pretty good, so if Obsidian made the third game I'd be pretty excited for it, especially if they were given plenty of dev time.

Yeah, I wish it was Bioware though, I did enjoy KOTOR I more than KOTOR II. That twist in KOTOR I was just........WOW, what a game.MikeE21286
IMHO, Kotor II story> Kotor I story, except for the ending, which was rushed.Angarah
Speaking of which, if you have the PC version of KotOR II, you should check out The Sith Lords Restoration Project. It's a fan-made mod that's attempting to restore a decent amount of the cut content. They can't restore everything, of course, but they seem to be restoring quite a bit of cool content, from the ending and other places. They're still in testing, but they seem to be getting pretty close to finishing it now.
