The E3 demo at the gamespot booth was awesome.

I found it incredibly funny that the tech used in this is so much more impressive than anything we've seen from kinnect so far.

I have seen a trailer for this maybe a month ago. ( I think closer to a couple of weeks ago, but not this trailer) It has interesting concept, but I wonder how it will actually play. And near the end they showed people using the normal PS3 controller.(When battling the ninja) I wonder if you can bassically scan yourself in then use a controller. Though that would get rid of the purpose of the game. It actually would be cool if you could scan yourself in and then create your own moves and map them to the buttons. Depending on how good it is I might get it, though I would also need to get a PSEye.

I think the opponents could be controlled by someone with a controller. You obviously can't battle eachother infront of the camera since you'd knock eachother out for real.

This really makes me wonder how far the pseye tech is from kinnect. If it can do this it can pretty much do anything we've seen fromkinnect can't it? Except voice recognition that is, but who's going to use that?

The PSeye has a microphone, so with the propper software it COULD get voice recognition.(Voice recognition is primarily software, though it may depend on quality of CPU of the machine it is attached to and how clean the mic picks up sounds) Kinnect for the most part has been built to beable to detect depth better (it has multiple cameras and can creat a "3D" immage instead of a 2D immage), besides from that microsoft just invested a lot more into the software for it. (There might be a few other things that the hardware of Kinnect does better than the PSEye but I think it is mostly software.) Though you could have the best device for motion controlls in the world and with out good software for it other things could beat it. (Kinnect is better than the PSEye but I am not really sure adding depth is that important for the party type games it probably will get) Though the PSEye probably doesn't have as good software for the devkits. (but that doesn't me developers can't make good games for it)

The issue with PSEye's microphone is that it is usually placed on top of the TV, and the player stands far away and he/she may have to speak fairly loud for the correct notions to go through. Bluetooth headset would work better.

the pseye is just a camera, kinnect i believe does a lot of preprocessing and i believe it uses 3 cameras to gain depth, my guess is the original kinnect with the processer was intended to actually figure out body positions and stuff but since it was a lot harder to upgrade the hardware only solution. I think what connect does on board is take 3 pictures and somehow mashes them into a format that makes it easier and faster to process when it gets to the 360 so you'll have a much better response time, a depth perception, and be able to handle more complex image analysis. this is me completely guessing though

@icygangsta Do you think Kinnect has a better microphone or do you think it will have the same issue? Aside from debates on Kinnect I don't really need to look into it a lot. Since I don't have a 360 and I am not going to get one just for Kinnect. (and There hasn't been many exclusives I want that are on the 360 so there no reason for it when I can play multiplats [if I want to] on the perfectly fine PS3) Back on topic, I think if I deciede to get a PSEye I will get that game when it comes out. I am still debating about The Move. For me I think I need to see how much delay the move gets and if I want any games for it.(and if I get a move I will forsure have the eye for it is required, and thus if I get the move I will forsure get KUNG-FU LIVE!!!) @savagetwinkie The PSEye does have a microphone attached but I can't tell you the quality of it. And yes Kinnect's biggest addition to camera motion sensing is depth, though until proven to utilize the extra depth perception I am not sure if it was needed.(though then again depth perception probably makes it easier to isolate a human from the background.)

Meh, this is the better Kung-Fu trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BO-qUqpyMuA

It'll be funny to see some cows that trash Kinect quickly jump on this.

I think it looks fun like alot of Kinect games. If i get it, itll be sometime next year.

I have no idea. I doubt it will have that issue - besides it's a touted feature and it worked pretty well at E3.

it already does use the depth, as you said its easier to isolate, i've worked with image processing before, and the pseye basically takes a picture and sends it to the CPU for object detection / tracking, it doesn't really sense motion the kinnect is a bit more complicated, instead of trying to just search for things in an image it can isolate the people on its on completely simplifying when it gets to the cpu for ojbect detection and tracking and its what will make it easier when doing things like facial recognition

The PS3 eye does voice recognition as well.
