KZ2 why?

What is everyones major problem with Kill zone 2,

Firstly for a start what is with all the hate of Killzone 2, it is t3h failures and has sold so little, it has not the gbest graphics gears 2 is better, or it is not a halo killer.

secondly what is with all the love, it is like god **** in my mouth, it has awesome graphics, it has gangsta gameplays and it defeats Xbox easy.

IMO yous are both long it is merely an adequate game, it doesn't push shooters forwards, but it doesn't hold them back, it does not save the PS3 but it does not crush the Xbox, stop with all the arguments and just accept that yous are both wrong.

and as always as history has always taught us danboys don't know what makes a good game, every game that has come along and swept us off our feet has been something new and original.

KZ2 is a great game period games don't have to be innovative or sell to be amazing thats for fanboy arguments

Killzone 2 is an awesome game and the rabid fanboys are upset that it is an awesome game.

Jealousy and denial. K2 is a FPS like NO other. Now i'm not saying its god among FPS, its just different and well done, IMO...realism that is. Graphical being its higher point. Just wish the PS3 had a controller shaped like the 360's...would make the game more enjoyable. Slambo86

I think its bashed because it was hyped to be a God among FPS but it wasn't. Its also bashed back because its used as some sort of ownage by the cows, the only problem is genuinely no one actually feels owned by it.

I say well done, great game, enjoy, but no one else cares. Its not great ammo, but the cows keep filling their revolver with it.

360 owners have their FPS games, the PC owners have their FPS games. The Wii um has a few as well.

This is very true. Every platform now has a good roster of FPS games. In fact, too many. I think instead of bashing each platform's respective shooters, we all just start bashing shooters in general, cuz I'd like to see more diversity in game development. I want to see more interesting titles like Heavy Rain for instance.beekayjay

Hmm so so far what I have concluded from my trolling (bleh) is that Kilzone 2 is not a merely adequate game it is a good game, however it did not descend from heaven and lead us to the promised land, It will remain in your memories but it shall never take a place on your hearts.

I found Killzone 2 very enjoyable. So if some idiot who hasn't played the game starts hating with no valid reason then Ill raise my voice. Simple as that.

after reading that I did feel that too, however in retro retro spect I am saying that it is adequate, although in my conclusion I stated it was above the average, but not awesome (good is above the average)

It has already surprassed a million copies sold and has not even been released in Japan yet, which will only boost its sells alittle more.

Something about PS3 owners, they buy games at a slower pace than 360 owners. For instance Gears 2 sells like 2.5 million on day one then in the next following weeks sales start to level off because everyone has already jumped in to play it. But games like LBP, MGS 4,Resistance, Uncharted, KZ 2 start off slow and then over time they reach the 2-4 million mark. Not to mention the people yet to geta PS3 as well.

And when gamers consider over a million copies sold in a short time a flop, you know gaming is going down the drain with these rabid fanboys claiming ownage over this. Also before all of this we all called a million sold regardless of what happens a tremendous success but now we dont?

In other words every game should be considered a flop, even Halo 3 because it did not sell as fast and as well as WiiFit? Considering Halo 3 had better marketing and hype behind it that WiiFIt.

KZ 2 was supposed to flop according to haters but it didnt, so they are so angry and trying to find anything to bring down this awesome games.

IF KZ 2 had sold on Madworld levels then it would be a huge flop but it didnt with its over a MILLION COPIES SOLD ALREADY(Near 1.4 million).

At this point in time I would say its the best shooter, after going back to try cod4 which was laughable after playing KZ2. I've tried TF2 on pc and it was just laughable now after KZ2, I've tried BF2 on pc, in which was laughable after playing KZ2. Hmmm what else is out there, so for right now as far as I'm concerned I've only got room for 2 games and that is KZ2 and Socom for some awesome tactical fun. But as far as fps genre goes, they all need to step up for me not to laugh at them, hear that Cod5 mw2.

KZ2 seperates the boys from the men in its graphics, gameplay and the skill level needed to be great at the game, heck not even great just to be good at the game takes huge skill. Cod4 masters running around with 13 kills and 45 deaths makes my stomach hurt laughing so hard.

I was talking to a mate saying sony must be disapointed in killzone 2s sales only selling 1.4 million copies in 7 weeks when sony would have been hoping for a smash hit, but it just sounded so wrong when I said it, and thought what am I talking about there great sales it is a smash hit, and nearly 1 million people have played killzone 2 online, killzone 2 will keep selling for a long time. Fanboys in system wars are almost trying to convince people killzone 2 is some sort of failure when really it's a AAA title and has sold well so far and will continue to, there is nothing failure about killzone 2 at all.gerard-williams

its a good game.lemmings hate it, cows overrate it. its not the best looking game, and it doesnt have the best gameplay, this game is beaten by gears of war but that does not mean this game is bad. kz2 has bad aiming system (dont blame DS3 for that, Resistance 2 had much better controls and aiming). Also the multiplayer is ruined by rocket launcher noobs but still a good game

Going by the hate and bashing KZ 2 has generated on SW I predict KZ 3 will probably be the most hated game EVER on SW.lol

while this game had great sales, it was still disapointing for sony because this game had like 1 million preorders in EU and the actual sales were less then the preorders :| lol either sony lied or people just cancelled their preorders after playing the demo. also this game is no where as successful as gears of war

And no, its no more realistic than any other random FPS.

I don't care what anyone says, I'm enjoying it.
