KZ3 to have the best skyboxes on consoles? (56K warning)

I know that Helghan's skies tend to be a bit...."overcast" but I'll be damned if this doesn't look epic for a skybox....

And yes, I know what this game's skyboxes will inevitably be compared to. But let's avoid flames (if possible). :P

Halo Reach, and to an extent 3 has the best skyboxes:

I wasn't talking about your pics.

I was talking about the ones posted on the 1st page.

Killzone's skyboxes are baked on, they're not real time like Halo 3 and Reach. In any case Halo skyboxes are more appealing. Halo's seems more diversified and has more colour to it. Killzone sticks with mostly the browns, greys, yellows, with a few variations in appearance.

Yeah they look better to you, RDR is good but Killzone 2 and KZ3 do have some awesome skyboxes too. Lets start comparing what guns look better now since we all know KZ3 takes a crap on Reach Graphically.

Resistance 2 had great sky boxes, i'm sure resistance 3 will be even better.

Yeah reaches sky boxes look 1000 times cooler than killzones.. Idk if its more technically impressive or whatever but still. I would rather look at halos than killzones dull skies all day.

erm, you have posted that video many many times before. And it may be that video's extremely bad quality but the skybox at the time you are specifying looks like crap.

erm, you have posted that video many many times before. And it may be that video's extremely bad quality but the skybox at the time you are specifying looks like crap.

The thread is about the best skyboxes on a console.There is a reason that it's left out of discusstion, and that is because it's not the purpose of the thread.

And to your second point, the thread was about best skyboxes, not "insert real-life picture into game background", i.e. that Hong Kong picture.
