L4D 2 Preview - Gamespy "feel like more than expansion"

Here is a new preview for the major motion interactive video game Left 4 Dead 2

One of the things I was really pleased about when reading this was the introduction of the new Spitter infected which can cause damage to an specific area over a certain amount of time. While this may seem minimal it will stop groups from hauling up into corners and holding off the infected. You will have to keep moving. This is a really significant change to how you'll have to play the game in my opinion.

I actually misread the topic title into thinking that L4D2 "feels just like an expansion", L4D2 is still on my radar but I am not exactly hyped for it just yet, even after reading the article.

Sounds like he had a great time. Also sounds like he's a L4D vet. Can't wait. L4D is one of the funnest online games I have ever played, regardless of content size.

I will be getting this game and I am looking forward to it.

The positive pre-views keep coming, when will the boycotters take their fingers out of their ears ans stop shouting "Lalalala! I'm not listening to you!! VALVE is bad!!" C'mon people there has not been ONE preveiw that says it's s rushed cash in, VALE thenselves have come out and stated time and time again that L4D1 will get continued support.

To be honest, I'm not really that heavily interested in the whole petition thing. I just know it will be a good game and that's all I care about.

I watched videos of L4D2 on Inside Xbox (on Live), and me and my bro laughed because it looked and played exactly like the original, only with 4 different characters and some new weapons. It'll be a rental

Almost all of this stuff can be added to L4D1 with a simple update.

I was playing on a modded server yesterday with the same effect as the Spitter zombie...twas the smoker. When he get's killed the smoke damages the survivors. I think i'll wait for reviews and player responses to see if it feels like more.

i really enjoyed L4D and got it a couple of months after release at a good price.. probably i'll do the same thing for L4D 2.... Malta_1980

i'll do the same. i got left 4 dead for £14 from steam, so i'll wait until steam do a good deal on this too.

played the forst one and got bored after about an hour. It was fun but no story really killed it for me. I know this game was meant to play with friends but even then it gets boring after awhile.

Buying this day one. Hopefully my specs will run this 100% just like LFD.

Surely you should wait until you know how much content is in L4D2 before you judge how much it is worth. :P

This game is going to be a blast. I feel sorry for those who is really boycotting this video game. Oh well more fun for us.

Im glad he liked it. Even if it were just more of the same, it would easly be a great experience. L4D is one of the best coop experiences i have ever played. Cant wait for this one
