I'd love it on PC too, but seeing as RDR didn't make it, I don't have high hopes for LA Noire..:( Still have a PS3, so it doesn't really matter THAT much to me.:P
As of now I don't think there are plans for it. Though I have no doubt that 6 months to a year down the road it'll end up on PC. As of now it's a Console exclusive.
GTAIV was optimized terribly on PC. That's why it's ridiculed so horribly. I know, I own it on PC (Yes, I own a 360 version as well, don't ask).
Why would you assume this when there is still no RDR for pc? Rockstar probably figures that if you can afford a $60 game then you can afford a $200 console. As of now I don't think there are plans for it. Though I have no doubt that 6 months to a year down the road it'll end up on PC.

Red Dead Redemption isn't even rumored for PC, so I highly doubt LA Noire will get a PC release anytime soon.

They have a history of porting games to PC later. I'd rather own it on PS3 to begin with. I'm just saying Rockstar ports games like crazy, nobody knows what they're going to do next.

If rockstar doesn't hire the same people who did the gta 4 port.MFDOOM1983Actually EFLC (not sure about individual DLCs) were optimized better IMO, so if whoever did that gets to make LAN for PC, it might stand a chance. I mean, hey, Street Fighter IV didn't get a PC release until like 6 months later. SSF4 came out shortly after with no PC release, and a year later, a PC release is planned. But that's Capcom, not Rockstar.
People think it is crap on PC because it runs like crap on a lot of their computers. It runs like crap on mine as well. It was poorly optimized and dual-core CPUs have problems running it.

I have a Quad-Core and I still can't max the game. They did a crap job porting it to PC. EFLC was ported a bit better though, the guy about was right about that.
[QUOTE="Fizzman"]Oh boo hoo, can't max it out and fulfill your sad little ego. Maybe if single player pc games weren't so heavily pirated then Rockstar might be interested. If L.A. Noire came to the pc then it would pirated at over 50%. That means most pc gamers wouldn't pay for it. Wow, the amount of information wrong in this post is pretty tremendous. You sound jealous.Sadly we are stuck with the crappy console versions. We can only imagine how much more awesome the PC version would have been.

Meh EFLC runs a bit better for me, I agree. But not much better.[QUOTE="dc337"][QUOTE="Fizzman"]Oh boo hoo, can't max it out and fulfill your sad little ego. I don't like PC elitsts and enjoy trolling them, doesn't mean that I only play on consoles.
I would love for LA Noire to be on PC, and I am still hoping maybe for RDR to appear on pc, it would look so damn sexy. The best version of gtaiv is the pc version.
Hence which is why I have a PS3.
Sorry, but given Rockstar's track record so far, I doubt we'll be seeing a release of LA Noire on the PC.
Looking past the performance issues, it certainly is. A high-res city (more high-res than the consoles), the video editor, and Indie FM makes it 10x sweeter than the consoles. The only thing they could've done better is to give Niko (or Johnny/Luis) an iPhone so I can listen to my own tracks (somewhat) during combat as well. The only bad part is that I have to start over on GTA4 as I've beat it on my Xbox already. But EFLC I didn't mind because I didn't play much TLaD on consoles and I didn't have BoGT. Anyway, back to LA Noire. We just found out that the game takes 3 discs (or 1 if you play on the network-less console), so it could only be more beautiful than LC, even on PC. I just hope I get to blow stuff up like I can in GTA4.The best version of gtaiv is the pc version.

[QUOTE="Fizzman"]That's kinda contradictory if you ask me....I played GTAIV on 360 and then bought GTAIV with EFLC for 8 bucks on Steam and the PC version is the definitive version. Game isn't very good though so its a hollow victory.
tjoeb123
Not really. PC version looks 10x better and allows you to use M/KB for aiming and a controller for driving. Its the best version, but the game itself isnt very good. Pretty boring, except Ballad of Gay Tony. GREAT GAME.

Oh, I see. By the way, how the hell can you SLI a GTX480 and a 9800GT together? Last time I checked that doesn't work...[QUOTE="Fizzman"][QUOTE="tjoeb123"] That's kinda contradictory if you ask me....tjoeb123

I'd rather get it on the PS3 after the horrendous GTA IV PC port.
Zurrur
They fixed most of the issues with MANY patches and mobs year after it was released ^^
That was after it was already delayed. GTAIV came out for consoles in April and for PC in December. Bully on PC was released with bugs as well. From what I have seen it looks like it will probably be a great game. Too bad no PC version has been announced. Oh well, that is why I have a PS3 and 360: for games like this that don't come to PC.

Yes, because games like RDR and SMG2 are crap. I NEEDZ MOAR PIXELS!As of now I don't think there are plans for it. Though I have no doubt that 6 months to a year down the road it'll end up on PC. As of now it's a Console exclusive.

Actually GTA4 it wasn't bad optimized only for pc but for consoles as well. both 360 and ps3 run GTA4 with very low fps and also you have to consider that they run this game with much lower setting and resolution.
GTA4 PC version(how it is on my pc)

The only thing that webpage proves is that you don't understand the meaning of the word "over". Either that or you don't understand mathematics.

its an optimized game, it actually runs really well its just that, it has higher system requirements due to being a bigger game then most, gtx470, amd phenom x6 struggles to play metro 2033 maxed out, is that because it isn't well optimized?I'm not sure the two games are closely related. RDR was developed by Rockstar San Diego, and Midnight Club 2 is the only game they've ever developed that made it to PC. I have no idea whether LA Noire will make it or not, but I wouldn't use Read Dead Redemption as an indicator.doubt it, RDR is the more obvious question casue of that doesnt come out for PC then this certainly wont
I dont care anyway as i have a PC/PS3
