Lair GS score prediction

I'm sorry for doing another Lair thread but I wanted to centre the talk here with the GS score.

I mean most of us here would think whatever IGN would give it GS would most likely give it a lower score here but is that still gonna be the case now? I mean it would have to 4.5 here to be lower and if it does I think this place will EXPLODE!

I think it'll get maybe in the 6's or 7's

Almost every thread on the front page of system wars is about Lair. Kinda funny. They were all grouped together too.

Anyways my prediction: 5.

IGN was a bit too harsh this time.

mine is 7.5 IGN gave godhand a 3 and GS gave it a 8. so its really up in the air imo. Hadoken_Kid

Why do people keep bringing up Godhand? It was just one review.

I'm glad I cancelled my pre-order. Warhawk and Heavenly Sword for the next month will do just fine :D

Yeah I think the reviewer just really hated and gave it a bit less cause of being tired of the controlls and targetting maybe... maybe he went a little too low who knows

If it gets AA I'll be shocked. If it gets AAA based on what I 'm reading now then maybe someone could claim teh bias lol

Yeah but like Casey said that thread should have came out earlier. After more and more info came in on the game people went from AA to AAA. I mean if we did a hype thread today I doubt it would be AA now ya know so its gonna be done at a certain point before too much info is given to the point where everyone's changing their minds on the fly

So people are "penalized" (or thought less of) for changing their opinion of how a game is after more details come out on it?

It would have been AAA but that depends on when a hype thread would have been up. Point is, hype threads need to be earlier and happen at a certain point before people can back peddle their statements. I mean I'm not saying hype thread the a game is announced but you get the picture...

Anywho I wasn't getting this game before and I still will never get it when I buy a PS3 one day

I knew someone would say that I guess you didn't read what I wrote. It's gotta be done at a certain point. Look at Lair now. What if we did a hype thread now would that be fair? People would hype it A or less now and I think that would be bull...

Like I wrote above this it's gotta be done at a certain point. Not at a game's annoucment obviously but obviously not when people know not to hype it cause of in depth reviews or in depth hands on play

Yeah this ain't a hype thread.. just seeing what people think it'll score with the new review coming in.

I think IGN's review and R-dot's review kind of cement it for me as a flop. If it scores AA here I'll be shocked.

We're talking about the cows here. They always attempt to change the rules whenever 1 of their games flops. I agree with TC that it's bull to keep creating 'official' hype threads just to suit your own needs. So Fable was a flop because Molyneaux said it was going to be the greatest RPG ever, yet, no matter how much Factor 5 told everyone this was going to be one of the greatest games ever, there is no way to deem it a flop because of the latest 'official'hype threads. It's always nice seeing cows living on both sides of the fence...
