Gamespot really isnt that strict tbh, they gave GeOW very high compared to most
AA for its originality and for its solid approach to gameplay, but the core concept is only executed well to a certain extent and some of the middleware graphics will definitely detract from the score. But the environments in-flight are amazing, though the AI doesn't exactly appear up to snuff. Plus the combat at times looks a bit too straightforward, but that's based off of what I've seen.
