Lair is officially the most impressive PS3 game I have EVER seen!

The concept, gameplay, graphics, animations, amount of detail, 1080p, Six-Axis control and amount of enemies on screen, this game just SCREAMS high production and high quality.

My only issue is that we have only seen ONE level: the castle.  This leads me to believe that the game could end up being repetitive and in the end.... boring because of the lack of variety. Though this is a game by Factor 5, the guys who made Star Wars: Rouge Squadren 2, so I doubt this will happen.

Wait to go PS3, you finally got a EXCELLENT exclusive, besides Resistance, from what I've seen so far. :) But can you keep it up? :wink:

After watching the developer walkthrough videos on gametrailers, Lair left a great impression on me as well.  It may be one of the first games I buy along with my brand new PS3 this coming fall.

its most likely on the easiest setting though.  I think it would be more intense and fun on a harder setting

The problem with Lair is that it's jack of all trades, master of none.

remember you're not everyone therefore your hate for it doesn't mean its majority. So you expected the ps3 to sell 100 million consoles its first few months? Remember the ps2 wasn't well recieved for a while either

It's Rogue Squadron with dragons. They do the same game over and over with somewhat impressive graphics for the new console they choose. The game doesn't impress me.Coldplay07

Did you ever actually play the Rogue Squadron games? If not I suggest cramming it. A lot of people loved those games and pretty much every reviewer gave them AAA ratings and having played them, I agree because they were fantastic titles and were far from boring. I have yet to hear anyone bash one of those Star Wars games and they were easily the best flight based games ever made in the Star Wars universe. Factor 5 knows how to make great games, especially flight ones which is something other developers suck at.

Yupyup! Im gonna have to agree. Although i've been saying that Lair & Heavenly Sword are the only 2 games that make me want a PS3. Unfortunately, that's not enough to warrant a $600+ purchase just yet. :|E M I N 3 M

Depends who you are as a gamer. Resistance is solid and Motorstorm is nothing but sheer fun to play, regardless of what reveiwers say they are great games. Right now there are only 5 games for the PS3 this year that I want, Oblivion, Resistance and Motorstorm are the only ones currently available, I do want Lair and Heavenly Sword though but I am going to wait until they are out before picking up a PS3.

If the controls work as good as it looks on the videos then this will be a gem. Graphics look smashinga nd at elast this title's gameplay seems innovitave enough, even if only the implemented use of the SIXAXIS. Looking forward to teh final result, will blindly buy this no matter what the review on gamespot will say.hamorhage
