This can't be confirmed as real yet, because if you go on IGN and look up lair, they havn't made a review yet. BTW, this thread will probably get locked shortly since this is Gamespot not IGN.

Lair wasn't hyped AAA guy. Oh well, 4.9 is horrible. Definitely was a good premise for a game too.

Nope... click the link... I found the review in the place that's on the bottom of the IGN page, where they put all their updates.

I was so pumped for this game (huge Rogue Squadron fan), but everything I was afraid of is right there in the review.  And every bit of it appears to be the **** Sixaxis' fault.  God, I hate motion control.  It's an annoying distraction in Resistance, it sucks in Motorstorm and Warhawk, and it looks like it ruined Lair.

Every time I turn on motion control in a PS3 game, it feels like the first time I had sex - a lot of clumsy fumbling, and a nagging suspicion that I should be having more fun than I actually am.

Yup. It was supposed to be a killer app and dethrone Gears of War in the graphics department. There were way more threads hyping Lair than Blue Dragon, because not only were they hyping the game, they were hyping the graphics.

wow, I wasn't expecting this game to score well but I at least thought it would score around the 6.0-6.5 range...I guess if the gamespot review scores it similarly I'll be owned for overhyping this :?
