Ill explain why for each department.

Gameplay-The sound and graphics will add A LOT to the overall gameplay experience, the gameplay will be fun while it does look repetitive at times but the tilt axis could add some spice. Again nothing about the Actual Gameplay Screams AAA but solid AA for gameplay

Graphics-Technically stunning and gorgeous along with a beautiful art design. Graphics are near flawless, amazing physics and Gorgeous phot realistic water. Perfect draw distance.. This is what Next gen graphics is suppose to look like

Sound-Amazing, Epic musical score from Hollywood director on top of amazing sound effects and acting seems decent as well. Epic Music seems to compliment the amazing sound effects as well.

Value-While I think the trophy system and leaderboards will add some replayability, I think this is where the game will suffer most being only 12 hours long with no online multiplayer BUT I think the Single player will be epic enough for value to be solid AA

Tilt-Looks very original and seems to do everything right in the dragon combat and fantasy genre.

Graphics and sound will be 10 each quote me on that. highly doubt gameplay will dip below 8, tilt will be 9. Value is still in question. At very least 8.8 with value scoring a 7

I'm thinking more of a 7 in value due to the lack of multiplayer and the rather short single player.  But everything else seems about right.-The-G-Man-

Well God of war 2 had no online leaderboards or multiplayer whatsoever and it was only 12 hours long as well and it still got a 8 or 9 in value, i forgot which one. If the game is epic enough, it will atleast see 8 in value

God of War II had some extra modes, didn't it?  If Lair does, the value could be an 8.  Without them anything like that, I'm betting a 7.

I really couldn't guess what score this game is going to get.. I reckon it might flop in the gameplay department, just looks really repetative as TC said... but there might be more to it then just mindlessly blasting stuff on a dragon, arent you able to get off the dragon and hit things with your mace?  I heard you can pull off some combos on the dragon that might be fun..CHRIS_K_UK

I say an 8.8 or close to that.  The game looks good but the gameplay isnt exactly dragonish if you get what I mean.  The dragons are more like fighter planes instead of dragons.justforlotr2004

That's what has been bugging me every time I watch one of the videos for Lair.

I really do think the graphics are poor. They aren't impressive to me at all. I don't want to stick my neck out too far but the game might be less than a 7. Sometimes the graphics seem pretty good but mostly it just looks like a mess. The texture pop on the soldiers is terrible and the colors seem to be somewhere between vomit and fecal matter.

Gamespot will NOT give the graphics a 10 because they are still giving Sony a hard time for that arogant comment about the next gen not starting until they say so.

Lair will not look as good as gears and so the graphics will not get a ten, probably a nine.  many textures are far too muddy for what the PS3 claims it can do.

RS2 on GC got a 9.4, and that game was only a few hours long. Lair is like RS2 but its longer with deeper gameplay. What may hold the game back from AAA is shoddy, forced sixaxis control.

I'd say AA...the graphics probably won't be 10, more like 9.  I wouldn't doubt the sound being 10 though...

Everything else seemed pretty close to what I'd predict it as too.
