Lair was an epic flop, well Haze has something to say about that.

Honestly, I remember all the cows actually hyping this against the 360 lineup in 2008. Well once again PS3 has its epic flop for the calender year. What do you guys think of this? Looks like once again the hype machine made some look foolish.

Lair has sold 250 k lifetime

If Haze sells lower, then its a bigger flop

Lair's hype was much more than AAA.

It was to be AAA and visually, the reason why the 360 could never be as powerful as the PS3.

Lair was the symbol of superiority. The logo on the hood of the car that was going to run over the 360.

That's why the Lair flop could only be equaled by say...a GT5 or MGS4 flop.

For me Killzone 2 is the next possbile flop, the game seems very boring and empty of any detail, they just focused too much on things they should not

I think this thread is a flop because nobody has hyped Haze for a long long time. I didn't see a single hype thread for Haze even yesterday.

Lair was another story, everyone thought with Factor5's track record, the awesome visuals (which are still awesome), the art direction, etc... Lair would be great. Unfortunately Factor5 got way too obsessed with the motion controls.

Lair was an incredible flop, I dont know if anything could match that disaster

Lair hyped AAA 4.5

Haze hyped AA (a low AA at best) so Lair is the bigger flop. After the demo were knew it flop, just not as much as looks likely.

with the PS3's lack of quality games, the cows have set their standards so low

i knew this game would flop .. it looks so generic and uninspired

It wasn't raised as high as Lair though. It was an 'eh' game to play till Metal Gear Solid 4 came out, I'd rather it have been good myself but.. :(

Give it a rest dude, all you're posts are made out of hate towards killzone 2. Seriously, haze looked like a piece of **** since the beginning, while killzone 2 looks to be shaping up like a great game.

Killzone got a 6.5, while being hyped AAA. 2.5 point difference

Brute force earned a 7.6. Now, it could have been hyped AAAA, and the difference would have only been 2.4 points.

LAIR, however, was hyped AAA, and earned a 4.5. That's a whopping 4.5 point difference.
