Weird that TLOU and Fallout stuck to the source material and did very well.

Its like if you make a movie/show and cater to the fans, people love it.

I've already watched it.....when I played TLOU2.

Like the first un-original season that mirrors the first game.

Couldn't give a 💩 really as the game sucks, so the tv show would too.

I couldn't watch the first season due to how shaky the camera/filming was.

but I will share that my parents were approached about their street (maybe even house?) being used as a filming location for Season 2. Don't think they ended up using it but thought that was pretty funny.

Couldn't get past the terrible casting so I have no interest.

That cliff hanger… Episode 2 gonna be good! Loved the Clicker detail in this one. They upped the graphics! Lol

Episode 1 is off to a good start. But I wish they had skipped the first Abby scene. Just a nitpick, she's too small and cute for the actress they chose. But of course, I don't know if there are many buff 20 ladies who can also act, but hey, I'm cool with what we've got. Also, the dance was really nice to see as it was almost shot-for-shot same as TLOU2 which is still fresh in my gaming memory brain.

I watched S1, but is the start of S2 off to the same level as the previous? Better? I was in the middle of watching The Sopranos for the last couple of days so I will watch episode 1 season 2 on my day off work.

I absolutely hate the Abby casting. It didn't have to be a hulking woman, just somebody with some decent height and physique. She's supposed to the total opposite of Ellie, who's small and sinewy. I have a hard time believing they couldn't cast a single somewhat imposing actress to play the role. I'm sure the season will be fine, but they shouldn't have revealed what Abby's intentions were until after the fact. THEN they could have gone into the back story

The first season is extremely faithful to the game. Some shots are almost 1:1.

I didn't play the second game and likely won't. On the fence as to whether Ill watch the show.

Do not watch S2 until you play TLOU2 cause S2 relies on the viewers to know what already happened in the game before watching S2. I still haven't bought TLOU2 on PC but I've played it back on PS4 5 years ago.

No it doesn't. The show and the game are for two different audiences. Most of the viewers that watched the show never even touched the games. They don't really care THAT much about viewer input from the gaming side

@BenjaminBanklin: Still doesn't change the fact it expects you to know about TLOU2. I'm on Reddit during the discussion of the show and we do get few folks wanting to watch it but never play the game and come back and complain on spoilers.

@SolidGame_basic: Is that 5.3M viewers in the US or worldwide? If that's just the US, then it's very impressive. If it's worldwide, then still quite impressive for a non-Netflix show.
