I have never been a fan of the MGS series and the EDGE review sums up why i still fail to get excited at this latest installment there is no way I am sitting through a 90 minute cutscene especially when from what I have seen of the story so far it involes robots making cow noises and **** everwhere. I wonder if anyone else feels the same?

They actually confirmed that the levels are very small and tiny, the game just got to my least wanted titles ever category

PS3 should have more ram, and better GPU for its price, not limit its games like that

Edge have always been harsh on MGS games.

i always been a huge fan of the MGS Series and IGN review + many others giving the game AAAA scores is why it continues to convince me its one of the best (if not the best series ever created)... Also your comment about the MGSIV story proves you've got no idea what's the story about, or perhaps the MGS story in general..

Also haters please stop using the long cut-scenes as a sad excuse to bash MGSIV, no one is forcing you to neither buy the game or watch the cut-scenes.. Probably you prefare playing an average story-less game with a ninja killing zombies/monsters in various modern locations... :)

What exactly does it confirm saolin. That there isnt 9000 leaves on a single branch of a tree. It isnt even your genre of game.

well 8/10 is a good score.... I would agree with Edge about that, afterall no game is perfect and deserves a perfect score... however was expecting a such score from Edge...

but then again they gave Grid 9/10 and the reliable mag/trustworthy thing falls apart... correct me if i'm wrong they also gave a 10/10 to Halo3 right? mmmm

Grid also beats Gears of War in Edge, by the way. So if this game is as good as that, bring it on! :D

lol dont try to convince me that it has a magnificent story no computer game ever has. If you want a good story then i suggest you read a book but then if you base your idea of a good story on MGS then i guess you probably never have.
