Sorry, but 50.000 is nothing, plus if i see right, 360 has sold 4.450.000 and PS3 2.500.000 so far, that is a 2.000.000 difference, if PS3 sells 50.000 more each month, would take 40 months to just reach 360 numbers, that is like 3.5 years to get even !!!!!!!

That is IF they can keep up those sales, or 360 does not increase !!!!

People know that most people buy their consoles when they are around $200 (what ever that is in euros). If the more expensive consoles is out selling the cheaper one, what will it look like when both consoles go way down in price?

Stop saying that it will take so and so many years fo the PS3 to out sell the 360, for all we know it could happen next year if both consoles go down in price.

haha nice try. I am only going to quote you because two other people said the exact same thing as you. Are we forgetting that these numbers are for only one week? Are you forgetting or do you just not know that PS3 has outsold the 360 in Europe every since the price drop? I think that has been for the last 5 weeks? Someone correct me if I am wrong on the amount of weeks. Over the last month it has outsold the 360 by well over 100k units. Europeans have made their choice things are looking bleak for 360s future there.

so far the other factor ive seen is the fact that Sony are really pushing PS3 advertising on TV.

On the side note PC has 47% and PS2 33% market share.

Lemmings and their insane math. I'm not questioning your overall POINT. However, I constantly saw the exact same logic/post being made when lemmings saw the Wii outselling the 360 on sales charts. They all said the exact same thing, "The 360 had a headstart! Even if the Wii outsold the 360 every month, at that rate it would take YEARS to outsell the 360".

Yet here we are a year later and the Wii has already overtaken the 360 world wide, bumping it into second place.

The site doesn't include the console market share stats, but good stuff nonetheless.

Yes the magazine has better numbers. All I could find at that site was that next gen consoles have 23% revenue.

And because they measure game sales I don't think they have any criteria for PC.

Um your forgetting they are both not going to hit 200$ at the same time unless MS is insanly stupid. MS currently has a 50$ price advantage and they can increase that at any time if the PS3 looks threatening. I can guraentee you the 360 will hit200$ six months to a year before the PS3. You should of seen them splutter when VG chartz showd them getting destroyed back in September and October. They have been going back and forth on VGChartz since Launch.

Saying 360 has better games is your opinion and most 360 games that are coming out now are also on ps3 and games like cod4 is better on ps3 since it has more players online and unreal tournament 3 comes out at least half a year before 360 but coming out with that is just your opinion, mine is that ps3 is a great gaming and blu ray system while 360 is a great gaming but thats all and unreliable
