now that everyone there has a DS, it seems like it's imprinted in their lives. they must buy a ds game a week over there :O

And you can't actually excpect to see Playstation games knowing that the Ps3 atm has pretty bad "reputation" (On the other hand Wii only has 3 games nothing huge there neither)... and the PS2 well its last gen lol... DS lite is the handheld/console to own in japan atm.
I can't get over how damn well the DS is doing. With FFXII: Revenant Wings and DQIX, I wonder how much of a boost in sales we'll see. Kinda scray to think about, in a way.

I know all that, I bought NSMB also, my point was Nintendo dominated with handhelds before, it dominates with handhelds now. No change there. And about the DQ 9 post... yeah well you can excpect a few millions right from the first week hehe.

Actually if you guys wanted to know the DS is 100% sold out in Japan EVERY SINGLE WEEK. The numbers are just the shipment numbers because they are all bought instantly. Its THAT popular.
