As fresh today as it ever was, Bioshock's an essential PS3 play.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2009: 88%
Sterling footy action but the lack of new ideas is starting to grate.

Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway: 70%
Inconsistant, but the tactical play will appeal to some.

TNA iMPACT!: 69%
A sillier and simpler game than Smackdown but a viable alternative.

SBK08 Superbike World Championships: 54%
Ugly and uncompromisinly tough. One for bike fanatics only.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed: 59%
This is just another mundane Star Wars game to throw on the pile.

Pure: 75%
You'll love it at first but Pure soon becomes far to familiar.

FIFA 09: 83%
The best FIFA yet, but EA are still a few goals short of the title.

Mercenaries 2: World In Flames: 76%
Technically weak and slightly scrappy but tons of simple fun.

The Last Guy : 80%
Small but perfectly formed arcade for a bargain price.

PixelJunk Eden: 76%

Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian: 37%

Hail to the Chimp: 43%

NBA Live 09: 63%

PDC World Championship Darts 2008. 43%

International Athletics: 71%

Worse than I expected for BiA : HH :(

AH, they pulled a Dead Rising? Well, luckily all my TV's in the house are HD now.

What's with the Star Wars:TFU hate. The game isn't that bad. I'm playing it now and it's certainly a better game than Mercenaries. Especially the PS3 version of Mercenaries.heretrix

I played the SWTFU demo, I thought it was average, but a lot better than Mercenaries 2 thats for sure. also whats wrong with the PS3 version of Mercs 2?

The Force Unleashed is such a disappointment, the gameplay is on the weak side and then the difficulty scales from unbelievably easy to stupid hard. It's a fantastic Star Wars showpiece, the visuals, sound and story are fantastic, but otherwise, it's very disappointing. But I will say it's better than Mercenaries most definitely.

I have a 19" SD and it works fine, HD's are for suckers.

If they said about Pro Evolution Soccer 2008:

the lack of new ideas is starting to grate.

And in my opinion PES 2008 deserves a 5.5/10 mark, for very specific and lengthy reasons, then I doubt '09 one is any better. Stop being so conformistic, FFS.

The sequence where you have to pull down the Star Destroyer made me not want to play the game anymore, I played that part I'd say about 5 times and I said, this is BS, it's a very big reminder of how clumsy the controls are. Luckily I just rented it, I'm glad I didn't waste my money on that game.

I should point something out about BiA.

When Earned in Blood and Hill 30 were released, the PS2 version was known to be very inferior compared to the Xbox and PC versions. So perhaps the same could be applied with HH.

ye i know its a ps3 magazine but that doesnt mean they will over score games for no reason. if that was the case why niot give other multiplat games above 90%?

but anyway its going to score at least a 9.0 guranteed!

This must be a PS3 exclusive, as it's not on the XBox 360 as far as I know. Never even heard of it.

A lot of FLOPS on that list. At least Bioshock turned out good.
