I have that game. Original and incredible for a game developed by only one person. But it's still not that good.
Wait a second,I don't know much about this game, but is it really even a game? Is it like making your own enemies and bosses and vehicles or something like "I made a moving wheel! WOOT!"Greyhound222Sure is. They had a game like this way back on the PC in like 93 or 94 where you could build your own puzzle levels and have chibi animals solve the puzzles. It was super fun. I think this is an extension of this idea.

First, I'd like to say thanks greyhound. And who cares if its a sidescroller? I can do all of this stuff in Garry's Mod with an extra dimension.

Thats like saying 2D and 3D fighters are the samePlus LBP's creation looks fun, GMod looks tedius

Note the word looks.
And Greyhound listed 2 physics based sidescrollers.

I see.But HL2 can still do quirky sidescrollers! http://mods.moddb.com/9366/flipside/ Oh yeah, and I can mod that too!Cool. It's just that it's on PS3 that it magically becomes "Innovative!". Ragdoll Kung Fu was innovative. The company/person who made Ragdoll Kung Fu is the same as the company/person who is making LittleBigPlanet

Thank god someone said it... people are bashing this game on a regular basis now even though the previews and demonstrations almost made me cry out of joy. This game is innovation... and I don't even need to defend that because deep down everyone who says otherwise knows it to be true.

This game does look incredibly good, but I wouldn't necessarily call it innovation. Its been done before in some form or fashion. If I could remember that one game from 93 or 94 for the PC thats almost exactly like Little Big Planet that would help alot. I'm definitely buying this game though.[QUOTE="KoreanX"]Cool.It's just that it's on PS3 that it magically becomes "Innovative!". Ok.. I think Rag Doll Kung Fu was more innovative... because it is! I mean, it just screams innovation, I don't even need to list my reasons with proof.
Haters owned. :P

Yay! PS.It doesn't help if you compare a retail game to a free mod. Also,LBP is severely limited compred to Gmod.[QUOTE="Greyhound222"][QUOTE="KoreanX"]Cool.It's just that it's on PS3 that it magically becomes "Innovative!". I doubt it.....I would easily pay full price for GMOD....luckily the older versions are free.
GMOD gives you the ability to do things way more advanded then those in LBP.

It's the other way around, some people(noobs) think anything on Wii is "magically innovative", no matter how bad the graphics are, and no matter how imprecise the control is.
What about the built in interface that let's you upload your levels, has that been done before?DoomshineUmmm, yes, for lots of free games such as Soldat(Google it,you won't be sorry). And in Elebits and Dewy's Adventure you can trade levels.

In GMOD, you can upload your saved games within Garrys Mod . org and share them with others. A bbit less user friendly, but it still was done.
I'm actually looking forward to this game, as I love making levels, but I hate it when people blindly throw around the word innovation when most of this stuff has been done before.

You're confused, some people(noobs) think anything on Wii is "magically innovative", no matter how bad the graphics are, and no matter how imprecise the control is.
Yes,because we were all talking about the Wii and Gmod on the Wii.[QUOTE="Doomshine"]What about the built in interface that let's you upload your levels, has that been done before?cobrax25
so many times (at least on the PC)
Yup, and the core concept of LBP has beend one on the PC as well back in 93 or 94. God I wish I could remember its name, it was so fun. Do you know that one game where you had animal avatars and it was all 2D and you and your riends could build levels with pulleys, magnets, dumbells, weights, and all this crazy puzzle stuff? I loved that game.[QUOTE="cobrax25"][QUOTE="Doomshine"]What about the built in interface that let's you upload your levels, has that been done before?Vandalvideo
