LBP is freezing my PS3!

Not flamebait, I posted this in the PS3 forum but got nothing, since system wars is always bumpin......

So far it's locked up my PS3 3 times. When I restarted after the second lockup it had me download the 1.03 update and couldn't connect to the servers so I figured maybe they caught it already. Nope, didn't make it 30 seconds into the next level and it froze again. The music is still playing but the video is frozen and the controller doesn't work, won't even let me got to XMB or restart. I've got a launch 60gb and I've never had any freezing problems except maybe twice with Assasins Creed. Anyone else??? How do we let MM know theres a bug?

when i get the game i'll be sure to save a lot. I dont want to spend 3 hours making a dinosaur and then it freezes on me!

I just picked it up today so I'm guessing its the updated version without the questionable lyrics.

The only time my ps3 froze up was with GTAiV, that was cuased cuase GTAIV kept trying to acces information online but that service was bogged down/my connection was bad.

My suggestion is to get your ps3 offline then try - if that works just expect a patch like gtaiv

Well, I thought that worked. It ran for a solid 1/2 hour before it froze this time. So frustrating!!!!!!! The game is great but I can't play it, even my wife want's to play it!bolamite_basic

I've had the game for almost a week, it never froze. Maybe its your PS3.SnakePS360Gamer

I've had mine since Saturday and it hasn't froze on me either. I thought it froze once, but it ended up being that it was just taking longer to load the user level from the server. I just had to give it a minute.

But ps3 games never cause freezing! thats only on xbox360,wii and PC.MojondeVACA

I'm gonna throw in some other games tommorow and see if its LBP or my PS3, fingers crossed its the game and it just needs a patch.

That's a good idea. Another idea you could try to is... turn off your PSN connection while your playing for awhile and see if it is really the game or something network related causing it to hang. I haven't really had any issues with the servers, but I know other people have.
