could happen to any 360 online game.
Yeah it could, but that would be way way WAY more unlikely.

well i've had issues with warhawk, cod4, mgo when i had my ps3. and i've read articles about gta4, lbp, and socom having issues. the worst was warhawk where the game was unplayable the first two weeks. happens for almost all big releases which is pretty bad. goes to show that free is not always better.
so far i haven't had any issues with live but i heard that it was down (unscheduled) near christmas last year but ms gave everyone a free arcade game for the inconvenience.
The servers are already back online.
Your news is very old.

Yup I've been playing for the last two days online.

Hmmm, I remember Live taking a Dive when Halo3 was released. Do you?
You fail Mr. Failypants.

Um how about no? the day after halo 3 launched I sat down to play multiplayer for the first tme and guess how many people were on??
1.3 million as indicated by the tracker in teh game. I found a game very fast and it had no lag in it so you dont know wtf ur talking about.

I was playing Halo 3 on the night it was released. Live didn't 'dive' at all. :|
Although, I remember Live taking a crap last December/January.

It's not PSN's fault turbo.
Then why is it the only service that continues to have problems? This is an exclusive, Socom was exclusive and yet both have PSN problems. It's not like either company was working on a 360 version as well.

That was due to the increased volume they took in during the Holidays. MS has actually planned ahead for the NXE and is ready. Unlike some other companies that still stumble with their service...

There was no reason it should've happened in the first place. That's the busiest time of the year for me when it comes to gaming and XBL going down like that nearly killed it for me. But I have both a PS3 and 360, and overall: Xbox Live is a much better service than Playstation Network.

You spout this crap then bash a game's online on opening week? Right...
I remember castle crashers having some pretty terrible online co-op. Constantly cutting off and making me lose anything I earned in the level that it shut down in. Pretty frustrating. Whats worse....paying for a service that has these kinds of problems every now and then or not paying for a service and having these kinds of problems every now and then?

Lest we forget that every other PS3 game runs online just fine. 360 has had quite a few first week problems as well. Paying for the service doesn't somehow guarantee any perfect launch day. Plenty of games on the 360 have already proven this.
as frustrating as it can be, unfortunately these things happen.. surely seems like PS3 games suffer more but issues are now getting fixed fast... the past days been playing SOCOM and its running smooth, no lag or anything.. same thing will happen with LBP, a patch get released, online probs fixed, everyone is happy...
From personal experience, I also believe Xbox live is better than PSN, but we cannot really compare them, since one is free of charge while the other service is not..

Live has had tons of problems, I don't see why Lems are crowing about this, but PSN seems to have had alot recently and games like SOCOM, LBP and Fallout3 all seem to have problems with PSN over last few weeks.

LBP deserved so much better than this. Delayed for a week. Online that sucks the joy from an otherwise brilliant game. Somehow its already managed to slip through the cracks of the hype machine. Now I'm not so sure it can do as well as I hoped it would. Already over shadowed by Fallout and Guitar Hero with gears and resistance just one week away. Little Big Planet may get lost in the shuffle.

that would really suck. Gaming industry needs unique, quality games like LBPPlease Log In to post.
