Leaked Screens from Bungies new Game!

With the hype of a new cross console game I decided to give you a taste of a newly developed shooter.

I will not give the title.

Gameplay
So Far only bits of the first three missions are playable. As you can see graphics are yet to be finished. (this is one of the earliest playable versions.) It plays like a cross between Halo, Call of Duty and RainbowSix.
We were told many of the visible characters and models were placeholders yet to be fully rendered (same goes for weapons).
I can't report much as far as story goes, there is no dialogue or objectives yet.


It takes place (estimated) sometime from 2020 - 2040, it is like a semi-modern war game.

Weapons:

m16(something)- Fully auto, with a x2 scope, kinda like an automatic Battle Rifle with less accuracy.
The game is soo far from being finished there is not much too say.

Laser Designated Rockets - fun, but only 4 shots, you only usually get it to kill choppers, but its pretty entertaining.

Pistol - there are a few, just same-old, same-old pistols with something like 6 shots each.

Sniper - I've seen what I think is the main character using a bolt action rifle, other than that. I haven't used it.

There are NO armor abilities from what I saw (you don't play as a spartan anymore) so there is sprint and there is barrel roll (evade). both are semi-usefull.

So we have Bungie wanting to make it space-agey as possible, and Activision, who wants to make it a look-a-like Call of Duty thus making money.

I should have seen it coming.

I have a feeling this is the next Call of Duty that activision announced even before the release of Black Ops. i remember reading a rumor about how Activision want to go more into the future now with the Call of Duty games. this could be it. wonder how killstreaks will work

They should have tried a different genre.

I'm puzzled by the stairs comment. I can't remember a single set of stairs 50M wide in the Halo Universe, and even then we have ceremonial stairs that help to elevate a place in modern society, and dating back to the stepped threshold of the Parthenon if he wants to get technical.

i was hoping for an adventure game. sigh:(

same, can't knock Grav Lifts either. :)

as for character models, maybe in Halo 3. character modeling on humans wasn't too great from what I remember. in Reach, it's all good.

as for the OP, I'm disappointed that this is looking to be another Military Shooter.

Ermmm..... I will just smile and say "Enjoy" as it looks to familiar from those awful pics to everything which me wanna not buy Bungies work.

If those screenshots are really the next Bungie game, then I'm tempted to scream, "Nooooo! Not another one of these!".

Current build uses placeholder models. Since the finished game will look different from these screens, it is safe for the Bungie dev to say that these are fake while they are not. The guy just don't want to hear how these screens suck.

Kinda reminds me of the first Halo Reach leaks. Anyway Bungie is good so I might keep a eye on this.
