Left 4 Dead coming to Ps3

I get to play left 4 dead. Other people get to play left 4 dead. It's a plus for everyone....

The only people who will NOT consider this a plus for everyone are those losers who are WAY too into system wars and want to continuously make something out of nothing.

That look's like a rumor list so I would defiantly take it with a pinch of salt. I think it could be true, but I think EA would most likely wait to see the sales for the other version's to see if it's even worth porting over since it's a new IP.

Not dev'ed by Valve and they bring up Orange Box and the way that went down.

Sure... it couldnt be because of the fact that so many shooters have Zombie/Survival/Virus modes ... anda re loved by loads :roll: ... and making a game purely dedicated to that experiance is a great idea?

I am excited for the game because of 4 player suvival co-op it has. No other game I have played has something similar to this.. The fact thats its by Valve is icing on the cake.. And no one argues that they are the "Gawds" of fps's... What they are very good at is updating their games and opening it up to the mod community..

That being said, if you have a some what recent computer I would get this for the pc.. Because like all Valve games the difinitive version is on the PC.

Trust me, many are going to love this game, me included though I won't be buying day one as too many others to do first.

Valve not doing a PS3 version makes this news very Meh.

I'll correct you. One of the *best* FPS developers out there is making a new FPS and people are supposed to not be excited by it? Are you insane?

And 4people fighting zombie hordes is great fun i find.

Because Valve's stated numerous times that they are upset with how the Orange Box turned out on the PS3 and that they don't like developing for the PS3 because the Cell Processor is a puzzle to figure out.

Even if it does get released on PS3, I won't be getting it. It'll be better on PC than on either console.

So what this means is that Valve isn't going to touch it. EA will probably be farming out some other studio to make the PS3 version. I'll be surprised if the game will be identical on the PS3. It has to be ported to the PS3. It's not being developed by the original game designers, who in my opinion, would do a better job with it.

I'm glad this isn't something I have to worry about. I'm already on Valve's preferred design platform.

Hmmm...Nothing mentioned on the Left 4 Dead forum. From what I've read, it appears that forum is riddled with hermits & they don't really care about the console versions, at least not the general fans. Arguments state that it's too difficult to patch Left 4 Dead games through Softy or EA or Sorny because something has to be paid for to Softy/EA/Sorny in the way of an agreement.

I don't think I'm going to buy this game...until it's only $10-20 for the PC version.

I have Orange Box for the PS3 and I haven't had any problems.

Although I did download a patch when I booted up my game the first time.

Thank you EA, but I think I will enjoy it more for my PC.

there was never a rumor section in any PS magazine...so i dont kno where you guys are getting that from. also this news is even posted up in the PS Blog...why would sony put this up in their blog confirming it's coming to the ps3, if its only a rumor? ....get back at me on thatFurbyballistik

And, if you think for a second about what that little "Blurb" looks like, it looks a HELL of a lot like a RUMOR SECTION. The headlines in it are half-***ed at best and none have ANY support behind them. Sounds like Rumors to me. Until an official announcement is made, this is nothing more than a rumor.

Neogaf didn't confirm it. They reported that Official Playstation Magazine reported it in the rumor section of their magazine.
