PC. Counter strike, team fortress, etc wouldnt be half as good without all the mods. Left4dead will be the exact same, great coustom maps and mods that improve the game.Sully28
[QUOTE="AlphaGamer469"]If I like it that much, I might beef up my PC to play it on PC...TenP
You should, and get other Valve games too. But then you'd never go back to your consoles. :D
Dude, I have specific games I love on PC and would never play on consoles. Civilization Revolution, I'm looking at you...
[QUOTE="kenshinhimura16"]PC, mods should be allowed in consoles, at least some are doing the effort with UT3 and LBP. TenP
They are, if you own an Xbox 360 and you're willing to pay for something PC gamers have had for free for months.
I dont get your point but whatever makes you happy :D
If you have the means to run it (ie a half decent PC that can run Half Life 2) you SHOULD get it on PC. It will be the better version and all of Valve's support that isn't possible on consoles will be there on PC as well as the community that will never die.
The only reason you should get it for 360 is if you have a bunch of friends that are into it. Since I doubt any of my real life friends even know about the game though, I will ge it for PC and I won't have any regrets.

Portal: Still Alive, is a "Mod" (in sense or Custom Map Pack) that 360 users have to pay for, when it's been available on PC for free for months now.
I understand UT3 and LPB have mod-like things, but it's fairly difficult for it to be produced for consoles, so it tends to only happen on PC.
Edit: I didn't mean to be aggresive if that's how it came out. :P

No it wasnt aggressive, but you would have been more clear if you said what you were meaning. All I did was mention that games as LBP and UT 3 are trying to close the gap. Also, not a fan of either HL or Portal so I never bought the Orange Box. But I was a big CS and TF player back in the day :P. Also, its not that difficult to do it for consoles, all you need is a PC support program, lets say that you buy the game, then you enter the game code to register it and you can download a creator to the PC. Its what UT is doing for maps and characters, and it worked out pretty good :D. Though I dont like most mods, for FPS they can be good.
Valve should stop making games on Consoles period, they're best on PC so they should stay there.TenP
That's a bit close minded. Console gaming keeps gaming mainstream and more popular. It's where most companies should go for expansion of market and popularity as well as making more money.
Anyway, I'm getting it on the 360 since I don't have a gaming PC and I want to play with my xbox live friends.

Microsoft would never allow that to happen.
PC no question.
The level editing, and community content is going to be AMAZING.
Perfect for a Zombie game.

Seriously, look at counter-strike. If the community can make incredible zombie mods and levels from a military shooter, just imagine the possibilities with the real deal.

Indeed, even other mods like Zombie Master, Zombie Panic, Brain Bread (for HL1), and Killing Floor (UT04) have had huge community contributions, that have made the games even better[QUOTE="Sully28"]PC. Any Valve game should be played on the PC if one has the chance.FrozenLiquidI honestly think with a game like this it is where your friends go.

I guess but the gameplay looks really fast paced and I wouldn't want to play it with a sluggish controller.
That, and there's a huge difference between Valve games on consoles and the PC: awesome mods.
