What's your point?, 360 owners have been paying for maps and DLC since day one, it's not a issue for most 360 owners. I like giving developers some extra cash for extra work they put into their products. No one is making you pay for DLC or maps on the 360. It's like people who cry about Wii casual games, just don't buy them if you feel butt hurt over them, problem solved. Same goes for DLC on consoles.

Sigh. And this is the mentality that 360 gamers have developed.
Free content from the developers - specifically for online games is supposed to reward players, keep the community active, and of course get more people to buy the game to play online - personally I bought TF2 after the Pyro update.
And its worked like this for well over a decade with PC games.
Charging for what should be free dlc simply fractures the userbase between those who pay and those who dont, but of course money hungry companies like MS who need to make up for millions of dollars in losses, rely on DLC to make ends meet.
Hence if the DLC on 360 was free for TF2 more gamers would probably bother giving it a go again, and people might buy the orange box on the 360, in light of the updates. Instead by charging for it, the only people who are going to care, are the stragglers left playing it on the 360 - a tiny minority, compared to the PC userbase.
If you think that 'the PC mentality does not work on consoles'
You would be wrong.
Look at Burnout Paradise - a perfect example of a game doing it right on consoles - continuing to sell copies and keep and active userbase with its gret downloadable content.
This is how things should be done, not money milking off the consumer.
I'll make this my last post on Left 4 dead in this topic. I'm not trying to sell the 360 version to people so I don't want to come across as a lemming. I know the PC version is the best version to get, there is nothing the 360 version does better, that's the simple truth. But I'll still be getting it on 360 as I just don't like playing games on my PC. I can stomach Diablo 2 on and off but that's about it. And when I say I'm happy to pay for DLC or maps I mean I'm happy to pay for content that's good value for money. I was happy with paying for the Mass effect DLC, but I thought the COD4 maps and Halo 3 maps should have cost less. I'll gladly hand over my cash for stuff like GTAIV DLC if it's not a quick and cheap cash in on gamers._Nicky1015_
Wel this is the problem, stuff like the COD4 and Halo 3 DLC quite frankly should have been free, but of course MS put its foot in the door. These are updates that should do as I explained with the 'pc mentality', rather than milk the userbase.
However if its somthing like Oblivion or Mass Effect (I guess to a lesser degree) - a singleplayer game where the DLC adds a substantial amount to the singleplayer component (or in an online game, where its effectivley a large expansion pack that adds to the gameplay and design, rather than just maps and small addons - more along the lines of Crackdown DLC), then it seems to be justified.
Charging for just a few maps is still absolutely bizzare as far as im concerned, especially considering that putting one together, and Q&A testing it is hardly comparable to the bloated price that is stuck on them.
