I do know there is a vast difference in Wii to PS60 than their is from PS60 to PC.

No matter how much You WANT to bring PC into this, people can only get CERTAIN games on CONSOLES.

Certain Racing/Certain Sports/Platforming/Exclusives/Certain Fighting/Certain Action Games, etc.

The Wii wasn't a step forward, it was a step sideways, and it's remarkable. Nintendo struck gold, but they also know that (See Wii Play/Wii Fit, etc.)

However, I really am dissappointed on Nintendo's decision to have such low graphical fidelity, because it has kept some GREAT PORTS from coming to the Wii (From GTA4 To Assassin's Creed to Orange Box to Bioshock To ElderScrolls, etc.).

IT would have been wonderful to have those games and Wii controls. Oh well.
I guess I'll be Playing games like RE5 on PS3 or 360, and that is NINTENDO'S fault.

I have 360/PS3, I do care about graphics although its not the only thing I care about in gaming. I do think that computers have better graphics and wish I had a better computer that could play more recent games.

with all that said... I still don't like the Wii

Find me a cheap GOOD LCD TV 1080p, add in the cost of a non gutted ps3 with full capabilities and the xbox prem or elite, and add it all up.

I've priced it out, I can build a SFF Q6600 with the 4850 for ~$820. Haven't pulled the trigger though, I already don't play all the games I've got.

GRID on the PC running at 1920 x 1200 (or higher) with 16xQAA and all settings Ultra/High. This beats GT5P hands down for actual polygon shifting and dust/particle/physics effects but you could argue that the cars in GT5P are more closely modelled on their real world counterparts. Of course that is just attention to detail rather than anything technically impressive :).

I disagree. I play with everything on High and it's definitely technically the most impressive looking game, but I wouldn't say a generation ahead. I've tried putting everything to Very High and it doesn't seem to look much better, and the framerates drop too much for me.

We will have to agree to disagree. For me things like Uncharted and DMC4 are not technically great because they offer limited freedom to explore. Sure, what there is looks good but for the same reason racing games have always looked good on consoles.

Crysis gave you the ability to do things your way in a very freeform environment. The consoles cannot manage Crysis level graphics in a linear, enclosed environment let alone free roaming. This is why it is a generation ahead.

personally I have a 60gig ps3 with a 26" sony bravia. Its the 26T3000 model and it cost me £400.

now though you could get the 40gig ps3 for £300, you could get a 32" hd tv for that price if you wanted but I wanted the bravia as it was of good quality.

though if you were going more on budget:

In a way I did actually.

I have a wii and 360 and by far the 360 is the best for me.

and having better graphics does contribute to that. But its other things too, its more powerfull which means you can have more going on, and better physics engines. forza 2 is great, and could never be as good on the wii as the graphics and physics would be worse.

Gears would also be worse on the wii due to graphics and less enemies on screen. Better graohics do make better games. If you have 2 games, both exaclty the same but one with better graphics, you would choose the one with better graphics.

I think its a crate for holding hypos. As far as I can make out the TC is calling the Lemmings and Cows fatter hypos than hypos that play PC or Wii games. Hence the need for bigger crates.

But the TC has made a grave error and has mispelt Hippos.
