Dont worry lemmings Halo3 will get AAA, think about this

warhawk a downloadable ps3 game got a 8.5 with just having multiplayer

bioshock got a 9.0 for a great single player but lacked multiplayer

gamespot will surely give halo3 a AAA with a great single player and a fantastic multiplayer, it has the whole 9 yards

but think, warhawk is actually somthing new, it has the size of bf2 with vehicles, with the speed of resistance, but with the friendlyness of wii games. Halo 3 will have good singleplayer, but its multiplayer is not really new, only thing is the map ediotor thing. Sully28

4player coop online with giant maps and vechiles, it doesnt have to do anything new to be a great game, it just has to combine everything we want in a fps and do it very well and i think halo 3 will prove me right

Then it's obvious you know very little of Halo 3. The Multiplayer has TONS of new features...from weapons to equipments to vehicles to maps to Forge to Replays. Bungie is promising an excellent campaign that will end with a bang. The AI has been improved (which says a lot since Halo's AI has always been one of the best); 4 player co-op and the metagame......It's just a superb package. It doesn't matter what score it'll get...This is how games should be made; especially sequels.

i only played halo 2 for its mp. so imo, i could care less about the campaign. it just has to do something new in the online for me, besides some editor. editors are fun, but ive played with them before and theyre not really for me.

i'll wait and see, the Halo series is the most overrated (overrated doesn't mean bad, just overrated) and hyped series in gaming history, it's hard to find a good preview of any of the games because there's so much surrounding it nobody can see through the "smoke and mirrors" and see whether the game really kicks ass or not

i mean, halo 1 is a great game, it did great because it was one of the only good games for the xbox, halo 2 was popular only because of halo 1's popularity, and halo 3 is the same, but halo 2 wasn't all it cracked up to be either, i'll wait and judge when the game has been out for a week as to whether i go get a 360 for it

i've played/beaten gears of war on friend's 360, i like that game more than halo 2 for sure

what about the gta series on the ps2 they all got 9.6s gta3 vice city and san andreas and there werent really that much diffrent of games they added more vechiles guns and larger levelsbut never really progressed in terms of innovation

Any way, I agree with the TC. I believe Halo 3 will either be a 9.0 or 9.5 here at GS, especially if the SP is great like Bungie promises it to be.
