soccer is the ost idiotic sport ever to be invented it completley stupid to the max. It is more boring than watching paint dry I don't give a rats a$$ about the favorite sport of a bunch of third world countries America is the greatest nation in the world and football makes soccer look completly stupid. excuse me If i want to watch giant athletes crush eachother over a bunch of third world reject kicking a ball around and the end of the game score being 1-0.

Its cheap to start a league, you dont need any equipment, you just have to have stamina to run around.

with football, 1 helmet alone is like $120.football equipment isnt the most affordable, hence, why it isnt popular around the world

P.S. It seems PS3 fans are all out roaming SW since sony showed them KZ2. They seem all recharged and happy to wait more (since 2005) to 2008.

Or in other words, pretty much the same thing.

No, Football and Rugby are completely different. They use the same shape ball and goal posts, thats pretty much it... though I admit I don't know all that much about Rugby.

Just because Football players wear padding doesn't mean they're wusses, as I've seen some people call them. Its this thing called safety. Being completely reckless doesn't make you any more of a man than someone with pads. Despite the (at max) 40 seconds in between plays that last anywhere from 2-15+ seconds, football is extremely tiring, and calling them wusses for taking a breath is just stupid. Not only that, but the break is required for a coach to call plays... Football is very strategic, and requires time like this.

Well said. The least interesting thing about football is the "brutallity" to me, and its really not brutal, its tackling. If rugby is just about violence, then its even less interesting (not that it ever was). Soccer fan is being thoroughly owned in this thread.
