Hmm.......Infamous? That would be your next biggest hope, but if that one doesn't flop(I'm predicting a 8.5) then its pretty safe we owned the first half of 09.

If Infamous pulls it off (I have no reason to think it won't) then Cows will have had a very good 1st half of 2009... 2nd is anybodys guess

What are the official hypes for Infamous and Heavy Rain anyways? I don't think they are hyped AAA. The graphics on HR were hyped to hell but not the game as a whole.

Infamous might be it, it's made by Sucker Punch, they made 1 A and 2 AAs on Gamespot.

Nothing ****** up in the world, just in this forum. 2 of my favorite games of this gen are both 8.5 games, meanwhile the 2 10 games I have sit and collect dust on my shelf. SW is bizarro world, man. Ya gotta love it;)

Infamous depending on the hype. I'm not sure though, the days of massive flops seem to be over for sony fanboys.

inFamous wont be too big of a deal though as its not as hyped as MadWorld and Halo Wars were. I think most people are expecting just decent scores for it...maybe a 7.5-8.0ish range

There are a lot of 2009 PS3 exclusives announced as of now... there was a thread on it, but I can't find it. Dunno how they're going to do though

Infamous is not a AAA title, 7.5-8.0 with it's Crackdown-esque appeal. Heavy Rain has flop written over it with the all story lame gameplay approach...and then there is nothing

I disagree with that Uncharted statement. If Killzone 2 has proven anything to us, its that sequels can vastly improve.

I got modded for making a thread about about Empire Total War flopping..... yet, I see these kinds of threads all the time, but mine is the only one getting modded and locked? All of these games were proven to be very fun to gamers but very bad for reviewers (or at least from gamespot). In my opinion ALL of these games were underrated. SERIOUSLY!

im disappointed with the 360 09'line up so far, wii is a disgrace and can only be played in short spurts and ps3 has been decent so far this yearbut the total body of work is still pathetic. hopefully all three get it together by this summer.

Never thought of it like that, but yup, the Sony fans have avoided a flop thus far.

Lol, how the tables have turn i remember 07 a dark year for Cows. Lair, HS, Uncharted and motorstorm all flopped.

Halo Wars did not flop, it's going to sell millions and the metacritic overall is an 8, that is not a flop by any means. Just because "Gamespot says" doesn't mean it flopped.Innocentguy757

Its sad that Empire Total War only got a 8.5. I still stand by a solid 9.0 for the game.
