im not paying and getting to play for free with up to 40 people on resistance and 32 people on warhawk. i think those two blow away gears and shadowrun (which sucked)

IMO I"d rather pay the 50 bucks and pretty much gaurenteed online support for every single game than have games like Virtua Tennis and Virtua Fighter that don't get the same attention as their 360 counterparts.

And if you've played Gears you'd know that 32-40 people would have been rediculous in this game and the game doesn't suit that many players at all.

And "queers of war" pretty much gives your bias away.

well i hate playing games with too many people especially without respawns. And i usually only play 8 vs.8 at the max so i'm good. Besides live is alot easier and worth the money. Granted sony offering online free is pretty nice but overall i like xbl much more.

Yes those things are theoretically possible,, but there has been abosolutly no indication whatsoever of games moving in that direction, and with sony's track record of overpromising and underdelivering....do you really expect 4d graphics and 120fps this gen?

But I guess we have to wait and see. But I don't see how 360 fans follows whatever MS says more than Sony fans follow whatever Sony says.

What does resistance bring to the table that avoids the game from being so repetitive? It's fine that you attack Gears, but I've played Resistance and it doesn't necessarily shine in the innovative gameplay department. In fact, from what I remember it lacks a cover system and doesn't have active reload that Gears has...both of which making the game have less gameplay aspects than Gears.

I named both of them because they are both perfect examples...get over it. Maybe nobody is playing these games becuase there replay value has been sliced in half compared to the 360 versions?

Majority of the cows dont care about 120fps. They have no clue about 4d and 120 fps. Next gen does start when sony is in it because they are the champs. PS1 and Ps2 lol. The champs always get to call the shots.

Sony said it is possible with their system now it is up to the devs to use the PS3s capabilities to get 40 graphics or 120fps.
