I suspect a lot hate it because it went PS3 timed exclusive. Thats just how SW is sadly...

It's because a timed exclusive (possibly full exclusive) for the PS3. That's the only reason.

PS3 Fanboys act the same way about Halo. There's really no reason.

Does this happen to have anything to do with the new Haze screenshots? In all honesty they look below average to average.thirstychainsaw

I'm not aware of a large majority of lemmings who hate haze...

I don't hate it either. Just doesn't really do much to differentiate itself from the plethora of shooters coming out this fall. Though I'll definitely give it a good look when it's closer to release because it did look promising.rykaziel

Isn't it coming on PC too? Or is that delayed too?

Bingo. It will sell better on the 360 and PC in the spring anyways, because it won't have as much to go up against. Whereas with the PS3, there isn't a shooter coming out in the fall worth mentioning aside from UT. Ubisoft is avoiding competition with Crysis and Halo 3 at all costs, to be honest, and it will pay off for them.

I don't think there's anything wrong with soccor moms and five year olds playing Wii, nor is there anything wrong with people buying consoles for Madden. It's just it's not a hardcore crowd like we are here. Casuals aren't going to come to a video game website talking about games like Cooking Mama and Madden 08. We're obviously hardcore, hence our presence on a site like this. The hardcore to casual ratio is not the same on these boards as it is on a whole in the world.
