Sure DMC4 is coming to the Xbox360, but since Capcom is now supporting a "Multi-plat strategy", I wouldn't be surprised if Dead Rising, Lost Planet or any of its sequels end up on the PS3. Although, being a PS2 only owner from last generation, the lack of interesting exclusives (except for MGS and Gran Turismo) is keeping me from immediately buying a PS3. The 360 was only supposed to be a temporary fix till PS3 came out, but now its becoming easier to wait for a price drop. Hopefully, win GOW3 comes out the PS3 will be a lot cheaper.

I dont think PS3s sales are high enough, at the moment, to warrent that kind of decision.. But, that's pure opinion...

Lemmings never said LP or DR will not leave 360, as much as cows said DMC4 will be PS3 only. So, if the games get ported, lemmings can easily brush it off due to Capcom talking about multi-plat. But if those games aren't announced for PS3 yet.....then it is 360 exclusive till then, if it happens.
As far as sequels go Lost Planet 2 and Dead Rising 2 could end up on ps3. But the current games out are exclusive to 360. They are too busy to just spend months remaking both games to play on ps3. They have RE5 and DMC4 currently in production for both platforms and i want to see those games turn out good. If the current 360 exclusive LP and DR get announced for ps3 then its Capcoms decision to do that. Capcom could easily keep LP2 and DR2 exclusive to 360 as well if microsoft pays them enough money to keep it that way. Â

Since you're a cow, then just trade in your x360 for the PS3 if you're certain all those game will go multiplat.
The question now is why would anyone buy a $600 system when they can play the same games on a $400 system and when the 360 price drop comes (and it will soon) it will be a death blow to Sony. Its a shame really because I loved my PS2 but Sony really dropped the ball with the PS3.
Why have several publishers ported games form the 360? Probably because they don't see a bring future with the PS3. There'd be no use in porting Dead Rising and LP to the PS3 if there wasn't a good forseeable market.

Yea but those have sold very well for capcom on the 360. That could be another deciding factor of why DMC4 is now going to 360 too. Capcom has had alot of success on the 360 lately.

Whether those games go to PS3 or not, bottom line is the multiplats will always look better on the 360.

Sometimes I wonder if people read. I said I wouldn't be surprised if those titles ended up on the 360, I never said I was certain. Also since I still haven't bought a PS3, even though I had planned to earlier it would indicated that I am more than happy with my purchase of the 360. Especially, since the 3 games I stated don't warrant a purchase of a $600, which is why I said I am waiting on a price drop if I ever were to consider buying one in the future. Damage control, I couldn't care less about Sony's bad press. Maybe I shouldn't have put a SWars farm animal name and ownage in the same sentence because it seems all chances of some of you thinking logically go right out the window.
