both Pc and Wii own ps3 and xbox 360 when it comes to exclusives.

In this list I only take into account AAAE's and AAE's, in order to not make ps3 and xbox 360 look so miserable in comparison.

Now, you may say that ps3 and xbox 360 got more AAAE's, but they mainly rely on the thrid party support, unless you're so obsessed with exclusives that you only care for them, which is another reason why you should look at what Pc and Wii can offer in terms of exclusivity. or just admit that without 3rd parties HD consoles would be collecting dust 2/3 of the year.

The 360 and PS3 did have very terrible years outside the AAAE bracket, they only managed to scoop up 1-2 titles between them. Is that going to be how the future plays out? 3-4 big title exclusives, and then nothing else for the rest of the year?

looks like that. it's funny too see all those gamers on the line waiting for a long while before another exclusive comes out and then they end up talking about those 3-4 throughout the year.

You don't play multiplats? How unfortunate for you.

Take out AAEs and both Wii's and PC's lists gets cut down to pratically nothing.

Of course I play multiplats. But that's sort of the thing about multiplats; most systems get them. They're an equaliser, we can't really look at them to work out the relative merits of each system, we need exclusives for that. Yes, we can cut down AAEs and AEs and then we have almost nothing for the PC and the Wii, but the question is why would we do that? To cover up how badly the PS3 and 360 did this year in those catergories? Do you only play AAA games or something?

Yeah I remember being there. The next difference is due at 25, when you realize and can admit you were a tool at 18 and didn't know anything except your horny. After that christmas seems to be every other Friday.

*sigh* it says in your very own link "small Minority". just like there is a "small Minority" of console players who put in massive amounts of time in their games. BTW starcraft was released on consoles too.

Hahahaha owned. I'm a console gamer, but I don't see why it's so hard to acknowledge that the PC is a fantastic system. It has its disadvantages, and those turn me off it, but it all comes down to taste in games when you choose the console you want. I don't know why people have to go with the crowd and hate the Wii either, it has a lot of fantastic games that people deny themselves by refusing to accept that a good game can be without HD, and yes, even be a bit kiddy sometimes. Not having blood and guts spraying everywhere doesn't change the fact that over half those "kiddy" games are much more hardcore than all the FPS these people play. And look at LittleBigPlanet, fanboys will jump to defend that game will spewing crap about how Super Mario Galaxy is kiddy.... mmmmhmmmm warped view there. The PS3 won 2009, accept that. In fact I was a long time PS3 basher, but 2009's lineup completely swayed me and now I'm really into the PS3. Wii will win 2010 by the way, there's not even competition for that lineup.

I'm sorry but this is a throw back to the old days of System Wars.

Not saying that this is System Wars is all about, but this thread is "refreshing" that it's not only about Xbox360 vs Ps3, Lemming vs Cows.. I'm starting to get bored of those.

PC has more exclusives since it's been out the longest out all the consoles and doesn't clearly go through generation jumps like the consoles do.

I conceed though the PC is in a league of it's own in that regards.

Nintendo's Wii- That's Nintendo with the most gaming experience and history on consoles compared to Microsoft and Sony- their franchises can attest to this and have proven to stand the test of time.

So I admit that the Wii, though not all it's games appeal to me does have more to brag about when it comes to exclusives, sales and overall appeal.

Of course I play multiplats. But that's sort of the thing about multiplats; most systems get them. They're an equaliser, we can't really look at them to work out the relative merits of each system, we need exclusives for that. Yes, we can cut down AAEs and AEs and then we have almost nothing for the PC and the Wii, but the question is why would we do that? To cover up how badly the PS3 and 360 did this year in those catergories? Do you only play AAA games or something?

It's just funny that while your original statement is suggesting listing both AAAEs and AAEs would be more "fair" to PS3 and 360, the real intention behind it is to bolsters the other 2 systems lineup which pales in comparison. I don't just play only AAA quality titles (and certainly not according to GS), but personally I prefer to play the games that I like the most, then going down the list of the highest rated titles. Why would I want to work my way up from the bottom? It should also be pointed out that not everyone is able to buy every new release out there, much less play through them all. AAAs offer the best value for your hard-earned bucks, and quantitly != quality. Figured that would be obvious.
