Sorry but when Sony gets it's killer app MS is sunk. Plus when the economy gets better and gas prices go down, people will buy PS3 and pass up the 360, especially when it's best game is only good for ONE rainy day.

Hahaha gas prices, thats a new reason cows are using for why people aren't buying PS3s. How about the fact that 360 has several good games worth playing, not just one good game. And a good online service to increase replayability. Lair may be longer than gears single player, but a multiplayer game it is not.

First of all 1 game wont sink a console. Second, Xbox360 has better games out now so why would somebody in there right mind pay MORE money for less quality of games? Third, GeOW has replay value because of achievements and multiplayer, Lair does not have anything after singleplayer.

You know stalkers a good game, needs to be fixed more but really hates laptops. When the sdk gets released that games getting a complete overhaul by many mod communities to fix the game to what it should have been.

It was underrated IMO. Deserved AAA but I think the fact that its been in development for like 7 years gave people high expectations which it didn't live up to. I would love to see a patch that meant I could run dynamic lighting and have a half decent frame rate.

You guys are really stretching now. That's how long action games have been for the past two gens. There's really nothing to knock. Those of us that have enjoyed the hell out of GOW know that a single player game with 10 -15 hrs of awesome gameplay is well worth it. Keep reaching lems.

They are just mad that Lair is DOUBLE what Gears of War is. Infact, more, because I'm judging that you guys are all good gamers and have skills and beat gears in 5 hours. Well I'm sure that you'll be able to beat Lair in 15, mainly because it will be so hardcore that the common lemm couldn't do it. LOL, that must be it.  Sorry, the jaggies in Lair's overwhelm my sense of "Awe".

No online just makes an average game less than average.  Don't worry though, if your a PS3 owner, any game you get, even if it's not that impressive is a plus.  Library on the PS3 is anything but stellar, not that this title will help it much.
