Let's be honest Cows....

You've been lucky recently and got some fantastic looking games for once - and you're happy no doubt.

360 owners have been waiting for a solid, technically impressive IP for a long time, and from all the previews I've read, from all the gameplay videos I've seen - I think the wait is over.

I don't know if it will be on par with PS3 exclusives (it's not out yet), but I have high hopes - but if it does eventually provide a real challenge to the best on consoles, you won't admit it then either.

Recently cows seem to have been going a bit crazy on here, and everyone acknowledges that UC2/KZ2 (although the latter is a bit bland colour wise) are great looking games - try to stop the rabid fanboy-ness for even one thread....it's actually making me cringe.

But I do agree about the U2/KZ2 graphical praising. Its getting to the point where they sound like hermits with Crysis. *shutters*

Yep same here. I'll act like a complete lemming fanboy on here at times, but I know friends with 360, and PS3 so I see my fair share of the PS3 too.

Fanboys in general make me cringe. I actual dislike the 360 fanboys more because that's the group I fall under, and I hate thinking that's the crowd I'm stuck with. Everyone deserves good games to play.

The PS brand since the PSone has provided probably the best gaming experiences ever. When the PS3 was released it was a very depressing first two years, the media claimed the PS3 was dead, devs where hating it, it had no good games, it was extremely high price point and everyone other than the most hardcore PS3 fanboys left the PS3 for dead (no pun intended)

Well now after 4 short years the PS brand is yet again back to its former glory. the Playstation brand is hip and cool again,its cool again to own a Playstation console, its getting praised by the media, its exclusives are starting to win GOTY awaards even most recently on Spike TV, the games just look amazing and the exclusive game lineup has never looked better. You dont understand what a great feeling of vindication the PS3 fans such as myself are feeling right now.

I can see where your getting at. When I meant Mainstream, I meant that People always demo games with the 360 controller, you see alot more 360 ads than PS3 ones, and games seem to sell better on 360. Thats what I meant. I love mine personally, but you have to admit that 3rd partys is still flubbing with it. We still see Multiplatform games perform better on 360, or at the very least the same. I know this because I go on sites like Digital Foundry and Lens of Truth all the time.We rarely see teh PS3 version be outright better than the 360 version. If Devs took the time to dev for PS3, we could see it get the better version all the time, but since the 360 version tends to sell more units of the game most of the time (atleast in america) theyre going to focus on that version. It was the same with PS2. PS2 sold more games, so devs focused on that.

I agree on those things. However, does it really have people thinking this is a definite AAA? I think it's just gonna be one of those nice games that is fantastic as a filler while you're waiting for a more high profile game. Nothing wrong with that though.

fanboys don't like competition, i loved watching 360 fanboys squirm everytime a ps3 exclusive came out that was superior to anything the 360 had ever put out

and now i'm watching ps3 fanboys refuse the mere possibility that a 360 game could be good looking

What do you mean cows have been lucky only recently. I've been a PS fan since day one. I seem to remember 15 years now of amazing, innovative and high quality games.

So why would anyone look at that record and then think the first year or two for PS3 was the rule instead of the exception.

Honestly, in your heart of hearts, did you really believe the Sony PS3 would stay down for the entire generation?

It was the best piece of hardware (console) when it came out, come's from a super strong gaming lineage-history, and is backed by Sony and everything they offer (developers).

Yes, PS3 had a very slow start, but did you honestly think the system would continue that way? You had to know that eventually, once the ball started rolling, the PS3 would eventually go on to do remarkable things.

Because the Wii is doing remarkably well, there's no way that the PS3 will catch it in numbers (units sold), but in spirit, the PS3 is currently (and recently might I add) the best system because it is releasing the best software.

You had to know this was going to happen eventually.

true stephen king books are awesome but movies inspired by his books have all been pretty terrible save the ones that arent about spooky things (green mile and I think shawshank was his too) and generally movie plots are alot better than video games so that could go either way...
