And lastly, the online is really bad. Friend codes are a barrier when you want to just have a talk with a friendly stranger online.

Oh and btw the biggest franchise game is flop. 5.0/10 IGN Pokemon Battle Revolution

Even though the OP is clearly a fanboy of the highest caliber (nice avatar), I'm inclined to agree with some of his assessment. The wii remote is horrible. I'm so tired of flicking my wrist when a button push would do. It never feels like the action it's meant to emulate and it only serves to remove control from the user (an ironic twist given its marketing angle). Yes I have a Wii, yes I play it, but I really don't think it was worth $250 and I really do not think it is in the same league as my 360.

At the end of the day, however, I think it'd be fine if they only made sure all games had an alternate "traditional" control mode. Games like LOZ:TP would be so much nicer on a gamepad...

And I have to agree. The lack of sound, graphics and third party keeps me from buying one myself. It might be a 100% casual system or develop like the DS. However I'm dissapointed on how the Wii turned out to be, and quite frankly the games are not there on neither PS3 or the Wii even though both consoles have potential.

@ Pepperpop10 - most of those titles are fairly good - great titles for the Wii. However, i disagree with the BIGS, Pokemon, Prince of Persia, MP8, Red Steel and wario ware.. but thats just me.

You have to give it to the vision Team Nintendo had to go after a group of buyers that Microsoft and Sony disregarded. I'm not talking about sheep but casuals. Everyone thought Playstation owned the casuals but not anymore (until PS2 waggle.)

I still think waggle controls and Wii in general is girly and kiddy, but I respect that. I also respect the fact that my family would have a fun time playing Wii sports on family night. I

don't see, however, sneaking downstairs when the kids are asleep, tofinish a level of GTA or God of War.

My God, the whining about Wii's dominance in the console wars is reaching all-time highs. I wouldn't be surprised if cows and lemmings have rehearsals before they start crying so that they can post multiple threads over a period of days, thus making it seem more wide-spread that it really is.

Because in the real world, the Wii is winning because it's the best damn thing since the PS1.
