Let's face it, Xbox is dying.

With next-gen consoles right around the corner, Microsoft is going to have to do some major changes if they want to stay on top next-gen.

Xbox 360's exclusives this gen were, well, terrible. The only one I could actually enjoy was Halo, the rest of the games on there were multiplats. Sony could easily gain the edge in multi-plats with the PS4, and since they already have a large supply of exclusives.....

The pay-to-play online service is a severe ripoff. Sure, I pay for it, because I have the money. But lots of people don't have the cash/aren't willing to pay $60 to pay online. Once again, Sony already has the edge with free online. If they just fix the mistakes they made with the PS3, then I will have no problem switching to PSN.

Its difficult to say without facts on the table. Microsoft being the newcomers are definitely the most likely to make mistakes since they don't have the expirience Nintendo or Sony do when releasing consoles. I do think charging for XBL and a heavy Kinect focus is going to hurt them though. And there has been a long history of manufacturers screwing up their third major system release but given Sony's recent decline overall I would say MS have the advantage. But this is going off now and not next.

Yeah, I feel the same way. I'm not interested in move, kinect nor the Wii for that matter. Motion gaming is just not my thing. It was fun for a while but then you start to realize how shallow it is.

I already bought a PC and 3DS and am thinking about buying a WiiU too. I'll most likely get a PS4 too but I'm not sure since I haven't even seen it :P

Might get a Vita too if it gets some more support, that is what I'm going with this gen.

Xbox has always been dead, just throwing out scraps every now and again.

I think the scraps have run out.  MS wants to make its next machine a social media center.

Dying of boredom maybe, sure. The only system owners that aren't dying of boredom would have to be PC more than likely. 

M$ is too stupidly wealthy to be dying, just the same as Sony and Nintendo. They're all doing fine I would presume. PC however is having it's own little rennaisance, best platform to game on right now without a doubt.

Disagree to many Xbox fans now. I know WAY to many people who will not even consider a Sony console. No they won by releasing 1st, grabbing the market by the balls and squeezing the hell out of COD Franchise and Halo! Unless they mess up really badly in the forth coming generation! (HOW CAN THEY) on FPS players alone i think they can continue to hold the Market from Sony. Look if people are willing to buy multiple Xbox consoles even tho the old one failed through no fault of there own! I think we have a loyal and semi blind fanbase. Also charging for online i just can not stomach it at all! Yet many do and continue to carry on feeding Microsoft. Great console great games and a big fanbase! If Sony messes it up they will easily lose Europe or at least the UK to Xbox this coming Gen.

Microsoft made Sony look like fools this gen. I have to admit it was pretty funny watching Sony fans have nervous breakdowns for seven years. Now that the PS3 is catching up in sales they are trying to pretend Sony has been on top all gen :lol:Miketheman83
