The general public knows Microsoft is leagues ahead of Sony in hardware and software development. The general public also knows that the Xbox One is MUCH more feature-packed than the PS4.

First off, the XBone and MS have horrible public image in North America. All the NSA spycam stuff proves to be true as well.

Gamestop had to stop taking orders for the PS4. Does this speak about the future? No. Similarly, you can't say (with any credence) that XBone will outsell the PS4 in North America. The price point and unwanted Kinect is a big hurdle to overcome in addition to the privacy.

Microsoft has NEVER been good at manufacturing. They've come into prominence as a software company, not hardware. The first Xbox had safety issues.

You do realize the kinect has been out for 3 years now yes? It came out in 2010.

How many kinect required games that have come out in the past 3 years that are rated highly, highly regarded and people claim to be must have games? Hell, how many kinect required games are there that are even just mediocre?

If gestures and voice controls are so great then why is it I can press a button with no thought at all and do it in 1/10th of the time it takes me to say something? Making a throwing gestures to throw a grenade or press a button to throw said grenade, which one is faster and more efficent and uses less effort?
