[QUOTE="MetroidPrimePwn"][QUOTE="mjarantilla"] [QUOTE="Legendaryscmt"]It's like saying "Let's not finish the Star Wars trilogy", "Let's not finish the Lord of the Rings trilogy", we need it cause it's the ending of a series, and it'll give people closure.Sir-Marwin105
The desire to "finish" the Star Wars saga led to the Prequels, and the desire to "finish" Lord of the Rings led to an crappy unpublished sequel set a hundred years after RotK (no, seriously, Tolkien wrote a sequel).
Anyway, I haven't played KotOR 2, but KotOR 1 needed no "finishing" at all.
That explains it. Anyway, long story short, KotOR 2 was a rushed game with an unfinished story and ending, and we want KotOR 3 so that the series gets a proper ending.
Seeing as Kotor 2 was better than the first one, I would want Obsidian to make number 3 and not be rushed.Yeah, there were several aspects of KotOR 2 that were better than the first one (the way your actions had much more of an effect on your party members, for example), despite the game being rushed, if Obsidian had more time to develop these attributes and maybe blend them into the story to create a less linear story, KotOR 3 would have the potentialto be one of the best WRPGs ever made.
