Here is one example, the o so reliable Vgchartz said the Wii sold "nearly 800,000 Wii units" in the 22-28 window in November of 2009, but it turned out it actually sold nearly 250,000 less reported by Nintendo. Not to reliable if you ask me.

yeah that theory really was shown with Halo ODST which has no where near the appeal of Reach.
