List of bands or songs you love to play while gaming

As the title says, I want to hear what specific songs or bands you guys are listening to when you game!

Personally, I always love listening to:

1) Rammsein

2) Static-X

3) Distrubed

4) Muse

5) KoRn

(I listen to mostly rock, but love different genres as well).

I just listen to the game's songs.

For Single Player I listen to the Game Music unless I played the game too much or I hate the ingame music. But I like listening to Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Clash, Deep Purple, Rainbow, and Rush when I game sometimes some of the Music will go good with the games I'm playing like Stargazer but other times it seems out of place for a fantasy setting mainly The Clash.

Rammstein and Static-X is basically all I listen to when I play KZ2, lol.

I can understand BFBC2, but Reach feels so quite and uneventful without music playing for me. Otherwise all I get to hear are BB guns and the lame announcer saying, "Double Kill!!!" every three seconds :P

On games like Gears of War 2, Halo (3, ODST, Reach), Shadow Run, and Forza 3.

I like to listen to Linkin Park, System of the Down, Offspring, and other misc. songs.

I didn't mind him at first, but when you play nothing but objective games, he gets WAY too annoying. "FLAAAG, TAKEN-Dropped the flag-FLAAAG, TAKEN-lost the fla-FLAAAG, TAKEN!!!!"....

I do like the occational "yoink" and such, though :P

I don't listen to music as background noise.

The only time I did I listened to this bands album.

In no particular order: Atreyu, A7X, Rise Against, Disturbed, BFMV, shuffle whole library.

I just listen to the game's songs.

those are the regulars. they just seem to go well with the games :P

Most multiplayer games don't provide a soundtrack during matches. It's easy to differ sounds from music from sounds caused in game.

I don't listen to music when I play, at least, not as much as I used to. if you were able to adjust the music more with the games you're playing, so it wouldn't play over in-game sounds/dialogue/voices etc etc. then I'd use it a lot more.

but I do listen to a few bands as mentioned. mainly Korn, Sevendust,and Alice in Chains, as those are the threeI have a lot of songs for. can't go wrong with Static-X's Dirthouse either:lol:

Disturbed has a lot worth listening to as well as Atreyu. then the mass of random songs from X band. usually their best songs, I'm a picky guy;)

mostly 90s/early 00s Rock though:)

I rarely listen to any music when I´m playing but when I do it´s usually manly things such as Vader,Morbid Angel,Darkthrone,Burzum,Carcass,Gorgoroth and other similar bands. :D

I like To play Kanye West's Flashing Lights when I'm playing a game with Free Roaming. It was inspired by GTA 4 but now I usually do it while Web Slinging Around NY in Spider-man Games!

The only listening I do is when I'm playing a TBS, a slow paced RTS, or a building game like minecraft. Classical music goes great with them.
