List of current-gen games that will be your last to purchase new?

I'm not exactly ready to jump on the next-gen banwagon yet because there's a few AAA tittles yet to be released this year. Now, for me personaly there are only 2 tittles(The last of Us and Splinter Cell:BL)that haven't been released that I'm willing to pay full price on.

I can wait for everything else to hit the bargain-ben....what are your final list of games that you are willing to purchase at full price?

Not a fanboy but I think im not touching my 360 now, waiting to hear about the 720 tough

I feel ya on that, I'm in the same postion.That's why you see my list is REALLY short, I have both a PS3 and 360...I just recently replaced my 360 after 2yrs, I just got Gears 3 and I'm not even thinking about judgement at the moment!!!:P

I'm on the fence with Fuse I got mixed feelings about the demo.

I honestly liked the demo, I loved the idea of switching out the person I was playing as w/e I wanted to. My only grip about Fuse is it came out at the worst time, I don't feel like spending $180 (actually $186.99 since I just got System Shock 2 the other day) on 3 games in one month.

GTAV, day one, then depending on black friday sales, if I can get a ps4, etc, the ps3 goes in the closet along side the wii and rots. The longest gen ever, was also one of the weakest, imo.

I will not be jumping to next gen any time soon, and I rarely buy new games at day one prices. There are a few exceptions though: GTA V, Watch Dogs, Rayman Legends, Tales of Xillia, Project X Zone, Rune Factory 4, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Shin Megami Tensei IV, Wind Waker HD, FFX HD.

The Last of Us and GTA 5 if anything. I'm considering gamefly'ing those and keeping it moving on to next gen.

I'm pretty positive that I'm done for last gen gaming. There's nothing for the PS3 or Wii that I can think of that I'd buy new at this point

I'm not buying any PS3 games full price. I plan on buying The Last of Us and Beyond Two Souls once their under $30.

Same here, I got both PS3 and 360 exclusives that I have yet to purchase and I know for a fact that it will take me at least 2 to 3 years to catch up. NOW, I'm not saying that I won't get a next-gen system at the end of the year, but if I do it most likely be for the addtional multimedia features.

I think Tomb Raider was my last Day 1 game. Most others I can wait for price drops. Hell I still haven't picked up Bioshock Infinite or ACIII yet.

Nothing, I'm a cheapass. I rarely buy games new. The only games I plan to purchase new in 2013 are Pokemon Y and SSB for 3DS. (and maybe the zelda LTTP2 depending on it's release date).

I said this last gen about all the PS2/Gamecube games I still meant to play, and hell I kept buying cheap games on ebay thinking I was going to keep playing.

Once I got my Wii, I barely played any PS2 games at all (and only played a few Gamecube games on my Wii).

Once I got a PS3, all of these previous gen consoles (including the Wii) pretty much got boxed up never again to see the light of day.

Of course right now I"m still saying there's alot of games I "mean" to play. But when I get PS4 I would be better to face reality that I might as well sell the vast majority of these PS3/360 games. If I was smart I'd probably unload a bunch in advance of next gen.

This... due to the backwards compatibility, generational transitions work very smooth on the PC...

As PC doesn't have gens and I'll play any games that come out this year either on that or Wii U, I guess my last current gen purchase was Zelda Skyward Sword.

Not much used stuff left to pick up. I am ready for PS4 and XBOX Infinity.

I have about 20 games I haven't even finished yet..  by the time I get around to most of them, the new PS/XB will be out.  And I already made a promise not to purchase ANY new games after last year (from last generation).
